If you are visiting Mount Maunganui which the attractions are, this is quite far. We only stayed overnight here. It is clean, and just basic no Aircon just electric fan in our room.

Fantastic stay, super friendly host
Super friendly host (thanks Dominique!). We stayed in unit 7 on second floor. The place was very clean, spacious and plenty of sunlight getting in. It's not luxurious but has all you need. There's thoughtful minor touches that you'd not find in your usual accommodation in NZ - such as a bottle of wine for not smoking :)

This property is very conveniently located and the host was very nice. However everything is very old and in a need of renovation. Just as an example there are separate taps for hot and cold water.

The gentleman at reception was very knowledgeable about the area and surrounding areas. Gave great advice about where to eat and places to visit. Rooms were clean and good location - walking distance to shops, restaurants etc.

Loved the location. It's really quiet. Great staff. The apartment was large and gave us plenty of space.Very clean. Overall the motel is a little tired these days

Too noisy. Can hear people going to the toilet in room next door, insufficient heating, other customers having fights and arguments, rubbish on ground outside unit, shower flooding. Never again. Way to expensive for what it is

A Very Good Deal
We were in Tauranga for medical reasons and this motel served us very well. Very welcoming, very clean and comfortable, very fairly priced.

The property was well overpriced for it's overall condition. It was outdated with a lot of little problems that add up. Very small toilet and bathroom area, very noisy as there is no double glazing, no Sky, and on it goes with small problems. The rooms just show their age and are not worth the money.

The property is very well located to be able to walk into the centre of town. The unit (number 10) was very old and tired. The hand basin in the bathroom was badly cracked as was the toilet bowl. The vinyl flooring in the bathroom and the kitchen area was so old the pattern was worn away plus the surrounding skirting boards full of dust. The kitchen cupboards really old and basic. The fridge was next to the curtain which had to be pulled away to open the fridge door. The couch in the lounge area was very uncomfortable. The bedding was very clean but the pillows small and completely swamped in standard size pillowcases. The carpet seemed quite new and was nice and soft to walk on. The shower tray was very clean and the shower head had really good pressure. The liquid soap was useless. I will not stay at this motel again

Very accommodating owners
After making our reservation online, I realized the office would be closed before we arrive. I called and let them know and they were able to make arrangements for us to get into our room. Turns out, they we're actually still there to meet and greet us upon arrival. Room could use some updating - like raising the shower head to a better height to make it easier to shower and wash hair. We ended up extending an extra night since there is a lot to see and do within a 60-90 minutes area.

This is a lovely motel in a brilliant location for easy access to the CBD. The staff are exceptionally helpful. The loved our unit, with great sitting out space front and back. Parking was very easy and the kitchen was great.

The motel staff threatened to cancel our booking a day or so before our stay due to an invalid card when we due to pay on arrival - the credit card was infact not invalid, the motel did not accept debit cards Our motel room was not as we were expecting. The photos made the room look new and modern but we were thoroughly disappointed when arriving The motel is located quite centrally to food and easy access to the motorway. The after hours check-in service was easy but overall we had a disappointing experience and would not be looking to return

Nice stay in Tauranga
In Tauranga to do an event. This motel is close to restaurants and easy access onto motorway to get to the Mount. The motel is a little older but was clean and tidy, very spacious (room 10) as well as very quiet. No road noise at all. Good shower, comfortable bed, with plenty of room. Stay very friendly and there was good wifi. We would stay again
