Liked the self-contained concept. ie; Washing machine / Dryer / Dishwasher / Cooker. Ideal for a few days stay, or when you are on the road and staying over.

Very good location being no more than 10 minutes walk from Taupo town centre and the lakefront. Nice modern building and being on lakeside 2nd story we had great views of Lake Taupo and the Mountains. Very quiet rooms with virtually no noise from other rooms/guests or road. (Quest was fully booked and we heard virtually nothing from around our room) Facilities for cooking, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine and dryer all great. Only negatives....pillows were awful (we went & bought a couple after first night) and the condensation on the inside of the rooms windows was not good. (Management needs to sort this before it becomes a major issue) Would recommend Quest Taupo & plan on being return guests.

Would love to stay longer but too much to see…
We are visiting from Australia for a 3 week road trip and booking accommodation as we go night by night. Lovely clean and fresh room with lake view. Comfortable beds, nice linen. Washing machine and dryer was a bonus. Easy checkin. Only one night but a very pleasant stay.

A great place to stay
We were doing some of the cycle paths around Taupo. The Quest was a good place to stay. Friendly staff, easy to walk into Taupo for dinner. Will stay there again

We had connected rooms with our adult kids which was perfect. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Beds comfortable. Close enough to walk to town and far enough away from the hustle. Nice easy stay with no worries.

Good location, but for the price it was poor. The room was run down, shower had issues, there was no hand soap and all the shower amenities were empty. Pool was unusable because it wasn't cleaned. Overall, disappointing.

Felt this Quest was over all run down slightly,the carpet in the hallway was worn and a broken picture in hallway, A missing picture in hallway. Not like other Quest I’ve stayed at. Our room was lovely clean, single chair in room could need a steam clean. Location of Quest fantastic, carparking great.

Very good place to stay with comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower! We had an interconnected apartment - a studio plus a one bedroom unit together. Would stay again!

The apartment had a dead rat in the bathroom which stank so much we could not use the shower and and left after one night. Needless to say that they DID NOT REFUND OUR UNUSED NIGHT, OR OFFER A DISCOUNT ON THE NIGHT WE USED IT. THEY HID BEHIND WOTIF

The property is very nice to stay at. It is very clean and very quiet. Close to Restaurants and shops. Also, there is a small kitchen so you can cook breakfast or dinner and you can even wash and dry your clothes. Staff were very friendly. Will stay here again next time!

Very nice & clean property. Only issue I had was working the washer & then after I got that figured out the dryer in my suite sounded awful so had to hang the few clothes I washed to dry rather than listen to the racket it was making.

The property was tidy and within walking distance of town. However, none of the windows open and the air conditioning was not working. This left an unpleasant musty, damp smell in the room like the smell of dirty, damp socks left in a changing shed. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, nothing was done other than a 'word salad' of excuses and gas lighting. Not acceptable. Do not recommend staying in these apartments unless you like the smell of dirty socks.
