Everything was excellent! The staff was super friendly. Only issue is the bathrooms are small but the rest was a truly enjoyable stay. Would absolutely stay there again

It's a great deal for the price. Clean and well-maintained. My only complaint was the noisy portable AC unit.

They are remodeling the rooms and not every room was available. I’ve stay there many times and like the location. I would improve the food and keep it full. The hours from 6-9 are hard when that is 3-6 my local time, especially after flying all day into the night. The shampoo and soaps could be made In the USA instead of China.

Well maintained appears newly renovated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice selection. Pool very nice clean the property is quiet. Bed is comfortable. Made use of refrigerator and microwave. Daily housekeeping.

The hotel was extremely clean for a 2 star hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I just didn't like the parking around the rear of the building to get to my room.

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel. We previously stayed at a local hotel that rhymes with Microhell, and it was horribly filthy there. I still have those photos! Roadstar staff was polite, nice and friendly. The only downsides are that we wish the pool was heated, and wish they would make the coffee stronger at the free breakfast. It was really really weak.

It’s a bit outdated inside the room but it was very clean. I liked that they had two luggage holders in the room to be able to place those there instead of floor or table. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles and other pastries. The only thing I did not like is how small the shower/ toilet area is. The door in that area almost touches the toilet because of how small it is. We would definitely stay there again if needed though. We did not get to use the pool but it looked very nice as well.

They want more money for Room on the first floor even though I am a senior and have problem climbing up the stairs. Room needs updating. I guess you get what you pay for. It's ok for the price.

Thank you for reviewing. The rooms on the first floor are fully renovated which is why they run a little higher. I looked into it and the room type you booked did not have any availability on the first floor to offer an upgrade as they had already been reserved.

The sink for the bathroom had backed up water that would not go down the drain. I told two staff members and they took note of it but never said they would send anyone to check it out and nothing was ever done.

For this type of hotel, it was a good experience. It does seem sketchy but once you walk in and are greeted kindly, you instantly feel the warmth. The set up reminds me of a motel. The pool area was clean. The rooms were nicely remodeled but there were parts where you can tell they just covered up with paint or caulk the worn parts. The tub had stains on the floor so we just put a hand cloth down. There was a smell in the room, so we told the lady at the front desk. We bought an air freshener. The housekeeper was very friendly and the attendant at breakfast was too. Breakfast was mediocre but I never expect anything much from hotels that offer free breakfast. It’s a small town with decent food options within 5 minutes of the hotel. If you venture out another 30 minutes or so, you can find a nice plaza with TJMaxx and options for nicer restaurants.

Totally recommend this hotel to everyone. Ive been to several hotels in florida in this price range and this one is by far THE BEST!!! Clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows, excellent breakfast, relaxing pool area. Etc.

This was by far one of, if not the best stay I’ve had a hotel! The service from the front desk was amazing, even before I checked in. I called with a last minute change, and they happily accommodated a day late check in with no issue. The room was immaculately clean and spotless which I love! Breakfast was hot and delicious, and had a great variety of options. I literally have no complaints. It was very quiet, and I felt safe as a woman traveling with two children with me. I left an item, and they called me the day I checked out to arrange sending it to me. Don’t let the property being older fool you, my experience was better than that of a lot of newer big name hotels. I will definitely be back when visiting the Tampa area!
