This was our first stay at the Telegraaf, after some 8 visits to Tallinn over the last 16 years. Hotels like this ccertainly did not exist back in the 90s. But Tallinn Old Town - or generally - has not been spoilt by development. If anything the reverse.
This was the nicest place we stayed on our vacation in the region. The hotel is located very close to the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is amazing, and the hotel facilities are very nice. The room we booked was not available so we received a free upgrade. The rooms have free tablets and are very clean. Note: the pillows are a bit different, but you can order different ones from the "pillow menu" on the tablet.

With a central location in the heart of Tallinn, the Scandic Palace hotel has an ideal location for exploring the city, close …More
Hotel staff and facilities great. They were polite, helpful and friendly. When my daughter sat too heavily on a camp bed we had requested, and broke a wooden slat, within 5 minutes the bed had been replaced. No fuss, bother or criticism. That meant a lot to a worried 9 year-old, and by extension to her parents. The room was spacious and spotless with wonderful air conditioning - needed as temperatures were around 30 degrees all week. Food was great, especially the breakfasts. With so many other eating establishments nearby, we only ate at the hotel once in the evening during our week's stay.
If/when we are back in Tallinn, there is no question about where we will stay. This hotel, so close to the city centre.
Many thanks to all the staff.
We stayed in Tallinn for three nights during a recent holiday, the Old Town is beautiful and not to be missed. The hotel was on the edge of the main square of the Old Town and a perfect location. Lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity which were excellent both in terms of quality and price. If you have the time do visit the tunnels which go beneath the town, very interesting!!
