Excellent location in XMD, walking distance to most of the shopping ammenenties ard the area.. Decent room size with bathtub, the room rate is v affordable. The con is the bed and pillow, I’ve a bodyache for the 7night I stayed there.

We are 4 persons (3 adults and 1 child) staying in a room. Room size is rather small, and conditions are quite old. The toilet flush was overflow and stuck after a single use. Hotel's location is good but the bad situation was it is located in a single floor of a shopping or retail building. The building is rather run-down.

It's a perfect hotel close to the pedestrain street of Ximentin, Clean and the personnel is very kind : I note 2 problems : The personnel don't speak english or the english is very poor It'very difficult to find the hotel, it'on on 9th Floor and the only entrance is the lift The adrres is : 9F-2, No 36 Xining road 9th floor int the 2nd Bloc of 36 Xining Road 36 Xining is the adress of yhe Bloc

Good location. Decent hotel.
Great location. Just off the busy Ximending core but only a few mins walk. Hotel was great. Staff were friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. The only complaint is that it's hard to find. It's located inside a shopping plaza but there are no visible signs outside directing you. Had to call the hotel and ask a local to direct us.

The hotel was really located in a rather rundown location. The room was very dusty, you can see layer of dust on the desk and cupboard. It is a no window room but their vantilator was horrible. The whole room is stuff, not recommended for families. On TOP of that cause it is a 1 level hotel, room wall are partition. Change of any sheet are chargeable. The bed are very dusty and it itch when you sleep. We got bed bugs bite from it. On top of that remote control was only given at the counter and had to return unpon check but that is not the problem. The problem was the television and the staff came in with his shoes into our room to adjust the television and our room was a platform bed and he step on it with his shoes on the platform. Cleanliness level is horrible. Toilet flush is easily clog so when you need to take big businesses you need to flush many times and toilet paper has to be thrown into the bin else it will be clog and you have to pay for maintenance. Resulting in room being smelly and horrible to stay. The hotel is more like hotel 81 on Singapore. So you are expected of weird noise and it will be Super clear cos rooms are of partition walls.

Centrally located with clean rooms
Booked 2 rooms: Room 307 and 308. Room 307 has a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. There is no way you can control the thermostat, so you've to endure cold nights, or wake up to switch on/off the air conditioning. Despite being located in an old building, the rooms were pleasant and carpet of the rooms were clean. Bathroom was great and front-desk personnels were friendly.

Nice affordable hotel in good area
I had traveled on business several times to Taiwan and had mostly stayed at Grand Hyatt, the company paying more than USD 300 a night. This time I was going on a vacation for 2 weeks and needed a good affordable hotel. I booked iTRIP TAIPEI INN for the first 3 days but ended up staying for all 2 weeks, except the 3 days trip I took to Hualien mountains. The staff is very helpful for any help you need. They have a nice dining/working area with free freshly ground coffee (from the machine) with free good wifi. If you have some work to do or just hang out, it is very good place for it. I usually woke up late and for breakfast got boiled eggs, milk, assorted sweet breads from the HiLife convenience store down stairs and freshly orange juice from the area - all for about USD 5. It was better than USD 30 breakfast buffet at the Grand Hyatt. Few times for dinner I had sandwiches from a stall they showed my from the window in the reception area - looking down to the right under the tree - middle eastern Shwerma sandwiches. It is cheap USD 2 each. I had 3 for dinner and was full. You got try it and you will be surprised at night. Your wife or gril friend will be happy. The hotel is on the 9th floor of the 10 floor multipurpose building, with busy shopping arcade on the first (ground) floor. You may have to ask the shop keepers how to get to the hotel the first time. But once you know your way around, it is very nice busy area with lot of pedestrians.

Perfect place
It's in a big yellow building full of handphones shops. Stayed with iTrip twice and both rooms had bathtubs, clean rooms. It's a nice walk to Ximen station through the food and shopping area. One time, a young male staff managed to get us a reservation at Taipei 101 Starbucks. My Taipei home :)

Dirty toilet, cheap hotel feel
This hotel situated at Ximending, a good location but it is in a building 9 floor. The enterence is at the backyard of the main road. Signboard hardly find. The room is small, toilet was smelly and drain was blocked. Feel stuffy cos no window. Not suitable for family vacation but definitely suits those who looks for "girlfriend" as a condom was prepared for you.

Clean hotel in Ximen
The hotel takes a whole floor in an old building, so there's something that can't be changed, like the stale air in the elevator. But inside the room is quite nice, the main facilities(eg. bed, bathroom, toilet, TV) are nice and new, only some of the other furniture(table, cabin) are apparently ones that exists before current renovation. Some part of the flooring also seems aged too. The hotel is in the center of Ximen, which makes it a very good choice for business trips in this area.

The hotel room itself was great and comfortable. However the hotel is located at a building where lvl 2 and lvl 3 is very shady and accomodate gambling and massage businesses. If you dont want to feel odd, just avoid those areas and for budget hotel Itrip is a plus :)

Nice hotel in Ximending
Family room for 4 is really big and spacious. It is clean and comfy and toilet comes with a bathtub too. Located in a building that is bustling with electronic stores in the night but looks deserted in the morning (huge difference in the day and nigt) . It is quite near ximen station but the only con is that the place is a little difficult to find. As we came in the morning, only one entrance is open so it took a bit of time and help from neighbouring store keepers to help me find it.

The breakfast is far beyond expectations. I recommend you just sleep through the day and have your first meal outside.
