Didn't like that there weren't small coffee makers in riom, nor coffee in lobby area. Small kitchenette had no dishes or cookware.... While this was only a 1 night stay for us, i really lie to have my coffee in the morning, and we had to drive a few blocks to get some coffee.

I was in town for my sister's wedding and I didn't know the area. I booked here and stayed here for two nights and it wasn't the best place to be. The room had this weird odor and one of the beds bedding had blood stains on it. The walls had grease and spills from previous guests and being that they don't offer refunds, I was a bit screwed. So I ordered some cleaning supplies and spray since it was only for two nights. I just dealt with it. The staff was friendly. It was quiet for the most part. But ultimately I do not find myself returning here. Just waiting on my deposit back at this point.

There were a lot of guest that were a little sketchy looking. Motel felt like it was one step above a homeless shelter. Won’t be staying at any Home Towne Suites again.

First of all the room was supposed to be non smoking but the tobacco smell was very heavy in the room. The toilet did not refill the water after a flush for at least 20 minutes. If the toilet was used before this it could not be flushed. We travel a lot and rarely leave negative reviews but this place looks a lot better in the pictures than in reality.

I had got to this hotel to see if i can check in early cause im looking for a place to live up in that area and told the lady at front desk also i start work at 3pm to 11pm. I notice that the front desk at this hotel closes at 11pm. She had a room and this was around 2pm and she said my charge is $272.38 and i paid that and put stuff in my room before i go to work. Everything was good until the next day i was looking at my bank account and notice another charge from the hotel of $86.19 which i was not told about at all. I go to the front about the charge i wasn't told about that charge. She said that it was a guarantee that i got the room. I told her ive worked in hotels anf i never heard of this. She said all hotels are different. When someone at the front desk doesnt say anything about a extra charge, it makes me wonder about the hotel .

The shower nosel didnt even have a hook to hold it on the wall. It was hanging down so you had to soap up with the water off. Had to hold the shower head in your hand the whole time The bed was terrible with creaky springs.

The staff was very nice each time I interacted with them but the hotel residents seem to have a hard go in life. The door to get to the stairs near my room didn't work. Had to flush the toilet several times each time. The air conditioner didn't work great. It did seem like the staff try to keep the property tidy. There is no ice machine. The room was clean and the kitchenette was nice. Internet worked well, even though I had to contact the customer service number which was clearly listed in the room and they answered quickly!

Room was musty and tan down. Bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds with the coils clearly able to be felt when stabbing you.

We ending up cancelling our stay since as we get in to the property 2 police cars roaming around and there were 2 people outside drunk and that is even 3 pm. Overall pleasant stay, but it was noisy! Hotel is adjacent to a car dealership, and every morning there were multiple car alarms that went off. Also, anyone walking by the room talking sounded like they were standing right next to you.

I am currently waiting for the deposit of 100 back, said it would be couple of days, floors were not properly swept, stayed 2 nights with old broken mattress, my daughter went to office to say something. They did bring a new mattress, but knew the mattress was bad to start with. Odd. When I was head house keeper that didn't happen. The rates are a lot more than the room is worth. And jumping from 94 to 150 for a weekend is outrageous. I hope they change that.

The problem is that they only clean on Saturday’s, I had to ask for clean sheets for the beds and had to do them my self had to sweep the floor and spiderwebs on ceiling and everywhere outside the hotel, hallway floors dirty and stinky. Plus didn’t get my security deposit

I can tell they have new ownership and are trying to improve the hotel and its safety. My room was fine, and clean. But there were still vagrants in the parking lot and I didn't feel comfortable. Hope it continues to improve, as the price is great.
