However, following the signs and arriving at the white gates opened us up to paradise. There are 2 pools, one salt with a jacuzzi, and the other enormous and elegant, complete with bar service. "Nice location about 15-20 min drive from Syracuse town. Had some issue with a waiter serving the wrong items, but the hotel was kind enough to give us that for free, plus a nice bottle of wine that we had selected. Big pool area for both our hotel (the 4 star one, that Hotels.com have not updated yet) and the 5 star one. Great breakfast as well. Just miss the porridge which is more non existent all over Italy. "

We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and the hotel really went out of their way to ensure our stay felt special! It was a great base to explore Noto, Modica and Ragusa.
