“Simply Lovely!”
Hotel and room very comfortable. Kettle switch took 15+ attempts before it would stay on so we could have a cup of tea (reported to staff on check out). There was limited parking but we managed t get by OK. Location was great; local restaurants were walking distance and very fairly priced. Our first visit to Manly and we will return. We took the ferry to Circular Quay and then on to a cruise to see Opera House, Harbour Bridge and arling Harbour. A better location for couples, but OK for families if you want a relaxed beach/eat/sight seeing weekend break. Our 9 year old felt a bit bored.
“Delightful Experience”
Our stay at the Sebel was memorable. The hotel is excellent and is located on a beautiful beach with close access to a lovely neighborhood and a most convenient ferry to downtown Sydney. The people at the hotel could not be nicer. Parking at the hotel is convenient, secure and reasonable.
“Manly - a great weekend”
Great position. 'Must do' resturant (Manly Wine). Get up early and watch the surfies, and life savers do their thing.

The hotel is in a great location, many restaurants and other shops within 500 metres, beach across the road, and relatively quiet.

We called ahead to see if our room would be available before 2pm and they curtly told us that they couldn't guarantee (she didn't even ask our name or tried to help). I would have understood if it wasn't available, but they didn't even try to help. Then they couldn't give us a straight answer if they could provide parking. Not 4 star service at any stretch. Our bathroom was obviously for handicap access, and looked like it was from a hospital: a bench in the shower, small tiny sink with tilted mirror and handicap grade handlerails everywhere. Fixtures in the room were average. Then at 3am the TV turned itself on (the remote was on the other side of the room). We were woken at 7am on a saturday morning by workmen fixing the hotel's door. There's more, but I'll stop here.
“Probems at Sebel Hotel, Manly Beach”
Room not ready as promised, internet down and not advised during check in, noisy, tried to bill me again even though had already paid through Expedia, demanded a $100 deposit until check out.
