the reception and bar staff are extremely welcoming, the bistro food is excellent, the location is ideal for public transport and walking to nearby shops and parks, and the property itself is very affordable and convenient. although outdated with structural wear and tear, I had one of two rooms with a balcony which had beautiful views and could people watch all day. would definitely stay again!

Property was convenient to where we were going out on the evening of our stay. There was too much outside and internal noise during the night and early morning making it difficult to sleep. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful

The room is very small but clean and well maintained. If you want a city stay at a reasonable price that is steps away from the train, tram , bus, shopping, restaurants and historic buildings and parks, Hotel Coronation is a good option. The staff were all friendly and Travis was especially helpful in providing directions around the city.

Great location, great room for a great price. Bonus: Travis at the front desk is a bonus. Great advice on where to go and how to get there. Even helped us get a cab to the airport that would be the best price. Goes above and beyond.

Fantastic property that's easy to miss but provides so much in terms of value and a great location. The Coro pub is one of the best in the CBD and has unmatched customer service with a well-stocked bar including many of tap options.

What I did like was being above the pub and pub was a great meals and really cheap but the rooms are quite basic and they're not new so don't expect too much and if you're okay with that great spot to stop

Great place to stay in Sydney CBD. You have Town Hall train station across the street, connecting you all over. It can be a tad noisy, but with earplugs, you are fine (I am a light sleeper and had no issues). Easy check-in. It might just have been our room, but the bed wasn't very comfortable, so I wouldn't recommend a long stay here if you have back issues like myself.

A very decent selection in a great location. Might be a bit noisy at times with the street performers etc, but it's got a great energy and the rooms are spacious.
