I liked it. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The only issue was that the window couldn't be opened.

So the golden rule of you get what you pay for rings true. In this case, we checked in early (we had called the prior day to arrange this). At reception were 3 staff members, all of whom I can only presume are work experience or trainees. The older one took 3 attempts at us returning to reception just to get checked in. Truly appalling belligerent attitudes. Extremely unprofessional & unhelpful & need some serious training even though it is a very cheap hotel. Despite this, we eventually got to our room. On the way (Sunday morning) outside ALL bedrooms were strewn dirty sheets. This linen remained in the hallway all day, impeding all walking traffic around the halls. All but one room was cleared when we returned at nearly 10pm later that night from a show. Even for the price, this was disappointing & disgusting. The beds were very old, linen poor & facilities almost nonexistent. The shower was mouldy. The only positive I have is that the towels we had seemed relatively new. Not a place I would recommend & certainly not somewhere I would take family. Book somewhere else! As for the woman at reception, your behaviour was despicable. You are in need of help if you intend staying in a reception job. Just a big fat no from me.

We have informed our duty manager about your experience, and they will discuss this matter with the team and remind our staff about the importance of excellent customer service. Our housekeeping teams will inspect the beds and linens and add them to a list of replacements if necessary. Additionally, our maintenance team will schedule the shower for mold cleaning or apply new grout and silicone as needed to address the mold issue. The staff were among the most helpful and professional that I have encountered on 4 continents. The hotel has a great location and is in easy walking distance of the international convention center different types of shopping and restaurants with cuisine from different countries.

It’s in heart of downtown Sydney . The L2-3 tram that runs to trains and ferrries at circular quay is right across the street . The tram runs right thru the strip of everything . Shopping is half a block away including a food court and whole first floor of souvenirs

The city doesn't get much closer to this hotel! 5 star location, 5 star check in, the guys on the desk were incredibly nice to me and it was so quick. The only thing that was annoying, and that's on expedia was it had parking and the phone number to this hotel is Perth so there was a bit of confusion when i called up. So that's on expedia, not the hotel

The hotel isn't 5 star and doesnt claim to be. However it is clean, comfortable and conveniently located in the city and to transport and I will be more than happy to stay there on my next visit to Sydney.
