Pros ,clean tidy property well presented with nice garden. Working staff Cons , poor service ,tv not working request to attend to it was not acted upon not even a feed back by management . No wifi provided , 3 day stay room was not cleaned Intruder tried to break into the room at 1 am , I don't see any cctv for safety of the guests What looked like the owners doing visits didn't even greet Guests with a Hello.

It is very unfortunate that no communication was made during your stay for immediate action The t.v channel was playing up due to bad weather which is common in Fiji, and it was fixed upon your request. We have a paid Wi-Fi which is mentioned on our booking site. The housekeepers communicated on daily basis for room service, but you declined. There was no report of any incident by you or our night shift officer. We hope to see you again Vinaka.

No star hotel
The place was converted into hotel with different kinds of rooms. They call delux rooms but nothing like it. Water supply is bad with mattresses have springs popping out. It operates more like a brothel. All fittings in rooms even the locks are defective

It is very unfortunate that no comments were made during your stay for immediate solution .yes we did have low pressure on the water supply this was due to water authority doing some repair .As for the mattress and lock we investigated the mattress and lock both are perfectly working with no issues . It’s not for tourist, maybe local. Very poor service. Guy I assume was the manager firstly fussed that we only have 3 nights not 4, later argued wifi wasn’t included, both instances I had to pull out email confirmation to show, no apologies from him been wrong. Lady at reception complained Expedia is selling room cheap, I explained I paid full price in NZD. Noisy all nights, dogs barking. Room lights are so low, can hardly see. Rooms were smelly and sheets and towels only got changed once during four night stay upon request. When I complained about linen been dirty, I was told it’s clean. These people find fault in customers only, you can’t talk or ask for anything. It was such let down after our 1 night at Denarau and two at Hideaway resort. Anna who helped us with clean sheeting was the only nice person here. I would never recommend or stay here ever again.

Bula ,Thank you for the review.We do not provide free internet all our bookings sites clearly shows that internet is available with a surcharge .your claim that it is free is incorrect . We offered room Service and was refused by your daughter and she requested to be done on the 3rd day.The booking was for 4 nights but an error was made from our reservation team however upon checkin this was corrected immediately.we do not have pets and however dog nuisance is a common problem in Fiji but is not a significant issue at our hotel as we are reasonably isolated from the Neighbors.

Stagnant water in bathroom. Not wheelchair accessible as was advertised, no in room telephone service. No room cleaning if you stay more than one night.

I highly recommend Tagimoucia House Hotel to visitors like myself visiting Suva. The Hotel is uniquely located which is in the middle of the main town of Suva and the airport. A 15minutes drive from both ends depending on the traffic. It also offers a relax environment and the staffs here are very friendly and welcoming.

Stayed overnight for work/studies. Despite being close to restaurants and a shopping complex very quiet and peaceful. I always travel with my own bedsheet and pillowcases but room was clean (no bedbugs, dust on shelves, etc). Air condition remote didnt work for my room but just pressed the power button on the actual machine and it worked perfectly. Tv worked great, amenties and kitchen appliances all worked great. Excellent for the price.

I chose this place because it had a kitchen but unfortunately the stove and oven did not work. It also advertises that the rooms are sound proof and it’s not even the slightest bit true. We could hear our neighbors conversations and nightly activities clearly. I enjoyed my stay though! It’s homey, beautiful and it’s walkable distance from the grocery store and it’s in a really nice neighborhood. The staff was incredibly nice as well!

I was bitten by bed bugs the last night I was there. The blanket was a double blanket which was not washed and serves as a breeding ground for bed bugs which bit me 7 times and I suffered for 4 weeks .

A month has gone by there is no report of bugs in that room . Our own investigation after your feedback found no traces of bed bugs. The double blanket you mentioned is our standard duvet which guests prefer than blankets .Thank you

We were given a room that smelled so bad. Musty smell all over, bed was disgustingly dirty. Pillows so old and dirty. I asked for a room change and the person I spoke to just said “they’re fully booked” didn’t really bother to help. Luckily the owner arrived. He told the person I charge to “reshuffle” so we were given a clean room without carpet which was okay. The cleaners were nice.

The particular room was without air condition for 2 weeks until we managed to get a replacement unit which was done just the day before your check in. Unfortunately we failed to do a complete revamp. The management has noted this failure. We value your revisit as you had been at out hotel previously. We assure you our friendly service and clean rooms.

It’s not like more than 10 years ago. They self contained units and the beddings were clean and tidy. Now you sharing a kitchen the towels, you really need new ones. Beds are creaking. Need to revamp your kitchen with new utensils saucepan plates cups/Mugs. Toaster. Noisy with kids running around. No privacy. You need to renovate your rooms. Changing your linens. Fumigate your rooms. Thank you .

I was not advised that the property was being renovated and a building team were working on a new roof and pool right in front of the room they gave me management were unapologetic they then moved me to a room that had water damage and a damp smell and again to another room where the tv didnt work and no phone reception all this and no offer of a refund or discount terrible 😔

Bula Ashok , you came to the hotel at 9 am ,under our advertised policy on expedia our checkin starts at 1pm however we made every effort to check u in at 10.30.you did not make any compliants during stay . you seemed to be a happy customer .hopefully you appreciate our effort for early checkin with out any cost .

I was Disappointed I I rented two rooms for three nights which which comes to US$350 which is $700 During checkout time one of the rooms was for my brother and he’s handicapped He can’t walk on his own and the day of checking out he called the front desk and ask if he could stay for a couple more hours which is 12 o’clock checking out time is 10 o’clock his flight is at 1:30 checking in at 1:30 but they said to charge him $40 just for staying for two more hours then he end up calling me back the United States to talk to them and I said it’s very at this time all the hotels all over the world are very slow including us in the US I told him you guys are lucky to make $700 out of three days so therefore can you please give him up to two more hours to stay at the hotel but guy that works overnight said no that’s the standard he has to check out at 10 am but he end up letting him stay till 12 I’m also a Manager at the Hyatt Regency here in United States it would be very nice if I get a feed back from the Manager at the property.

This policy enables us to get the room ready for the new guests and given we are a small boutique 18 room hotel we discourage late check outs. We are sorry if this policy was not communicated amicably. On a positive note, your guest was given a waiver. Your family's entire stay was a wonderful friendly and "family" type relationship. This is the feedback I got. Even some visitors were allowed into the room and to also use the facilities without charge. We welcome you to return and share the same friendly hospitality. Unpleasant stay
Really disappointed with the stay as shown in the picture the delux rooms are not even like that the sheets were dirty in the first room I went in their were ants cockroach’s so changed my room paid extra to so at least better room Nxt room was okay but still felt like room wasn’t serviced before given to me no soap in the bathroom n all sum of the stuff were helpful some were just tym kicks

The ground level room was adequately spacious. The bathroom has a side door that is accessible to strangers if you were to forget to lock it which allows one to enter from another door to the main room. And in that same passage way is the storage room which the cleaners freely come and go.The toilet bowl looks like the cheapest one installed. It was very low and the tank took forever to fill up.

Bad experience!
Terrible location, in the middle of nowhere with dogs barking all night. It is old and run down and they try to charge extra for whatever they can such as $3.50 to use the stove in the common kitchen, $5 for a drink that was supposed to be included in the breakfast. And forget about getting any internet service.....you need to buy a pocket wifi from Vodafone if you need internet. They also want you to pay cash up front and if not will charge a 3% credit card fee. Left our key at the front desk and when we returned they couldn't find it.
