I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The service was amazing, the room was great and the good was delicious. The thing that let it down was the lack of phone signal seemingly everywhere in the hotel. Also, the spa is an additional £10 if you want to use it on a Saturday, which I wouldn't have minded if the lights didn't go off while we were in there, the steam room hadn't stopped working and the jets in the pool were functioning! There was also a strip of missing tiles above the water level in the pool. Despite all of this, I would definitely stay there again!

"I was very impressed with the service and rooms."
It was very relaxing weekend my hubby and I didn't want to leave. We all did some research on the property whilst were enjoying our breakfast. I was blown away and amazed on the history. I would like to explore the hotel a bit more when the weather improves.

Cannot fault the hotel. It was clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was really good, plenty of it. It was central and close to where we wanted to go which was the Mercedes Museum, Brooklands Museum and Weybridge.

Only stayed the one night as needed somewhere to stay after a day out in London and not far from Thorpe Park. Whilst it's not close to the park, it's a 5 minute walk from Staines train station where you can catch a bus direct to the park. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was ok, wasn't the best but it wasn't dreadful. The staff were polite and helpful. Would I stay there again? Yes, most definitely.
Pleasantly surprised. Had not stayed at a Holiday Inn for several years. This was perfect for Guildford. You do need a car to get to town. It is close to the hospital and the University of Surrey. Comfortable room; got the exta pillows I requested. Internet easily available. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again . Guildford is a great spot for visitng Surrey, or even hopping on a train to London. ( I know , I used to live there )
