We stayed in a double standard room and found it perfect for our needs. Only being there for one night meant that we didn't need that much room for our clothes, however if we were staying for longer, the lack of space for clothes would become a problem. Overall I can't fault this hotel. The cleanliness and comfort levels were extremely high which made the stay even more enjoyable. Being a short walk from the town and the station meant that is was the perfect hotel to choose for a weekend away. I would definitely stay here again but would probably get a bigger room.

Adults, children AND teenagers will find plenty to do here-special and excellent facilities all round in beautiful surroundings. Lovely and spacious rooms with King sized beds, huge bathroom with bath AND separate shower. Very quiet. Beautifully furnished. We love the 19th hole bar and restaurant-casual and reasonably priced but the hotel also had a superb formal restaurant. We came back as we had hosted our daughters wedding here 3 years previously and couldn't fault it. Stunning gardens and scenery. Oh-and incidentally-you can play golf!!!!

This visit was a wedding anniversary treat. Staff very friendly and polite, we had a room overlooking the test track. The bed was kingsize and really really comfortable. It was utterly silent when we went to bed, there was a wedding down the other end of the hotel but we were not disturbed at all, not even by anyone who was staying on the same floor as us. For a very upmarket hotel the breakfast facilities were disappointing. In my and my husbands opinion the hot breakfast was not hot and i ended up leaving my scrambled egg and mushrooms because it had gone stone cold. Prehaps we were expecting too much but it would have been the icing on the cake if the chef was there preparing hot eggs etc.

Stayed overnight after my son's wedding on the Thames. Had a lovely nights sleep and a picturesque view of the lock on the river. Was very relaxing having a coffee watching the boats go by. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Wish I had more time and a bigger stomach to enjoy it all.
