We were made to feel welcome before we even arrived with an email telling us how to get there and where to park. On arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owner who speaks little English but immediately phoned Petar, who came over, showed us to our room, asked what we were interested in during our stay and sent us a very informative email the next day with lots of useful information. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the kitchen area is small but extremely well-equipped, although in the end the nearby restaurants are so reasonable we always ate out, and the view from the balcony is amazing. We were offered clean towels during our stay, and we were always greeted with a smile morning and evening, making us feel very at home.
Hotels often look much better in the photographs. 5 stars are not really five stars, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The two bed apartment we were booked in which overlooked the sea was beautiful. Equipped really well (although the kitchen unit was a little basic). There is free wifi throughout the hotel which is great and should be standard across all hotels I feel. The beds were firm and comfortable. Toiletries were posh and smelled great. Everything looked of high quality but the best thing was the view. Seriously, pay extra and get the sea view. It's breathtaking. Note that dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc aren't provided but you can buy a small pack for about £15-£20. Bit pricey.
The pools were great but half of them were closed due to it being off season. In fact a lot of the hotel was closed. However, it didn't bother me too much as we got such a good deal. I can imagine it's twice the price in the peak season but also very busy.
It was a very nice. Small clean hotel with a pleasant staff in a quaint beach community on a cliffside outside of dubrovnik. The only problem we ran into was the extremely narrow street you had to take off the highway to get there. It is a very dangerous turnoff of the main highway which is only two lanes. One north and the other south and getting off and onto the highway was always a challenging because of on comming traffic coming up or down that main road. However overall the view was beautiful and tge beach was great.

The hotel was fantastic. We were given a large room with plenty of space for our 1yr old to run around and release some energy. I didn't realize from the expedia page that this was such a large resort. And it had breathtaking views from the cafe, restaurants and pools. Several restaurants to choose from, all with a good variety. Breakfast was fantastic as well. The staff was really friendly, informative and always happy. We had an issue with some orange water coming out of the bathroom sink and they took it very seriously and had it fixed immediately which I appreciated. It wasn't necessarily close to the old town, but there was a bus stop within a few minutes walk that took you directly there, also it was very easy to get a taxi. I really enjoyed this resort, thought it was exceptional and would love to stay here again if I every make my way back to Dubrovnik.
Very comfortable beds, especially the pillows. Terrace area for breakfast was beautiful and the range of food excellent although the fruit offering could have been better. Fabulous Spa and sunbathing facilities and even at busy times, sun loungers could be found. Sea swimming excellent but the pools were a little small due to the rock face restrictions. Lunchtime menu was adequate. The evening menu was excellent but top end of price range. There was a frequent bus service into the old city which made the hotel conveniently placed. Staff very pleasant indeed. I stayed with my two daughters, both in their 20s and we all would consider staying there again.
