Ibis Stuttgart City was a great place to stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It is very close to public transport, with one of the trains going to the airport stopping right there.

Cheap and comfortable stay.
Nice hotel a short walk from the S-Bhan where it’s two stops into the City Centre (less than 5 minutes). Being the normal Ibis it’s fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Has satellite/cable tv with channels from all over the world for entertainment and the bar is open 24/7. If you’re staying as a family with young children they don’t provide extra beds in rooms and children under 12 are expected to share a bed with their parents. We weren’t aware of this but the staff were really accommodating helping us secure another room next door at a reduced rate. Breakfast wasn’t the normal buffet due to Covid restrictions but you’re given a tray full of food presented nicely and still allowed to have as much as you like. Would use again.

No kettle and coffee in the rooms. Child's bed (which we did not use) was broken. (room 605) Staff were very friendly, spoke good English. All facilities looked brand new and nicely decorated as if recently refitted. It was a shirt walk and 2 stops on the Ubahn to Haupt Bahnhof so very convent for tourists.

Bit out of the way but nice!
It's a bit out of the way from the city but there's a tram that will take you there in a couple of stops. Overall a clean place, that fits our purpose with a good breakfast as an added bonus.

Check in was busy and staff were helpful yet brusque and unfriendly. Dinner was excellent & lady who served us was very good and very friendly. Breakfast - lady who check us in was very brusque, maybe it’s a cultural thing but they came across as unfriendly. However, young man at check out was very friendly. Room was small but adequate. Clean and comfortable bed.

Hotel had business vibe too which was nice, I was on a break and visited a few places. Good links to the airport good to walk places if you have the time central train different lines. Room good beds nice Bloomberg on the tv good nights sleep all 3 nights of stay which sometimes in hotels doesn't happen - good dark curtains and staff spoke perfect English.

Nice stay at Ibis hotel.
The room was clean, not too big, but ok. The bed was a bit small for 2 adults and a children. No fridge in the room. The breakfast was very good. It was bad lock that the closest metro station was closed, so we had to go on foot to another station, wich was not very plesant.

I visited Stuttgart for a conference - stayed here 3 nights. It was close to HBF, a short walk from the local Ubahn stop: generally a good room for short stay. One thing that would make the room better would be a small fridge to store food/drinks.

Ideal for a short stay.
I spent one night at this hotel and although brief the reception staff (Rico) was extremely welcoming, helpful. Excellent breakfast and a tidy room.

The hotel is near to great public transport if you are not coming by car. There seems to be a problem with the general soundproffing between rooms. The was also a lack of bar food from during the week after new year, this could have been communicated prior to my stay. There are not very many resturants nearby, however if food is not an issue to you then its good clean hotel with great staff.

Clean and quite hotel in usual 'ibis' style. Some on-street parking available for free and cheap garage parking. Walking distance to subway to go downtown, walking also possible, bt along noisy main street.
