The staff were delightful.So friendly & helpful A 15 min walk from town.But there is a great resturant /bar lakeside only a 2 min walk away.

Lovely family run hotel conveniently situated on the edge of Stresa just 2 minutes from the Carciano ferry stop. Views from our rear top floor room were magnificent.

A lovely, small hotel with a great pool, good breakfast and very friendly staff. I was disappointed we were facing the hillside but I’m not sure how much of a lake view the other side of the hotel would have because of trees. It is really convenient for the Lido area and boats to the Borromean Islands. It is quite a long walk into the town to the main restaurant area (at least 20 minutes) although it is a beautiful route along the lakefront. The main port to get boats to other places is also quite a walk. It is convenient for the station.

Nice hotel with good rooms.
Very nice hotel with helpful reception staff and plenty of information about things to do in the area. Lake Maggiore is a beautiful destination with many worthwhile excursions.

Great position
Nice hotel, helpful staff with good breakfast. Swimming pool a bonus and a balcony with plenty of room. Great position for the ferry to the islands and the cable car.

Recharge in Stresa
We stayed here for 2 nights with a balcony room overlooking the lake. We were impressed with comfort and service of the hotel staff. The meals were good. If there was a downside the hotel was adjacent to the busy road that runs through Stresa but it does go quiet at night. The pool was good but not open unfortunately not open until 10am after cleaning. The hotel was conveniently situated near to the cable car and ferry boats to the islands.

Great base for Stresa and Lake Maggiore
This hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the cable car and ferry terminal to the islands with a bus stop just around the corner so a very convenient location; and then a very pleasant 15 minute walk along the lake to the restaurants of Stresa town. The hotel is family-run which is reflected in the service which was excellent. Very good breakfast, great wi-fi and lovely swimming pool.

Das Hotel Flora ist bestens für Kurztrips geeignet. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die deutschsprachige Betreuung der Gäste (Fr. Wanda) ist sehr bemüht alle Anregungen der Gäste zur vollsten Zufriedenheit der Gäste umzusetzender. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einen Pool. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Der Hafen für die Bootsausflüge ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Accueil très agréable par un personnel parlant français. Nous n'avions pas une chambre avec vue, mais l'emplacement de l'hôtel est très pratique, à 3 minutes à pied du bord du lac et de l'embarcadère pour les iles Borromées. Dommage que la salle de restaurant donne sur le parking et que la piscine soit coincée entre route et parking, sans vue.

Zimmer sind zweckmässig und sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gutes Frühstück. Es empfiehlt sich ein Zimmer mit Seeblick, da die Strasse auf der Bergseite stark befahren ist.

Nothing is unique. A regular room with continuous AC failiar. 2 Breakfast buffet, if you paid over the internet, you'll be seated next to kitchen and elevator and the small buffet. Trust only the young brunette, she knows her stuff. Avoid the elderly lady as she make up excuses and no--sense excuses. Don't fall to "most our rooms are lake front..They don't.

Sehr sauber, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Straße. Freundlicher Service und gutes Frühstück. Bei einem Zimmer an der Straße ist es sehr laut, mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist kaum möglich. Eine geräuschintensive Klimaanlage ist vorhanden.

Rigoureusement tenu de mains de maître
L’établissement est très bien tenu mais l’accueil n’est pas à la hauteur. C’est un peu rigide et froid. Cependant, le petit déjeuner est incroyable : Nombreux produits frais et de très bonne qualité. Les chambres sont impeccables. Tout est impeccable. A croire que la rigueur de l’accueil des propriétaires reflète aussi une forme d’exigence et de rigueur dans la tenue de cet établissement. Ajoutez y un peu de chaleur et de sympathie et on sera au top. La situation de l’établissement est bonne, bien que nous ayons regretté d’être au bord de la nationale. Vous dormirez cependant au calme la circulation est faible la nuit et les fenêtres, Comme le reste, de bonne qualité. Me manquera juste ce petit supplément d’âme que j’aime à trouver lorsque l’on l’accueil.

Accueil très peu aimable. Nous avons hérité de la pire chambre de l'hôtel:au rez de chaussée avec vue sur les poubelles du restaurant et la route très passante. Va et vient incessant de voitures et camions rendant le repos impossible. Quand nous avons demandé à changer, on nous a répondu qu'aucune autre chambre n'était disponible mais qu'ils nous préviendrait le cas échéant.Nous n'avons jamais eu de nouvelle de la direction qui ne daignait même pas nous regarder lorsque nous passions devant l'accueil. Piscine agréable mais également très bruyante car trop proche de la route très passante. Petit déjeuner de qualité et personnel du restaurant très gentil. Nous n'y retournerons pas.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Lage gut, sehr nah am See und ca. 15 Minuten entfernt vom Stadtkern. Frühstück war ebenfalls super und generell machte das Hotel einen sehr sauberen Eindruck. Hatten vorher etwas bedenken, ob das Zimmer wegen der Lage zur Straße ev. zu laut ist, aber die Fenster sind gut isoliert und mit Klimaanlage und Jalousien haben wir bestens geschlafen!

Very nice hotel. The hosts were serviceminded and hospitable with a very good breakfast buffe. Nice swimmingpool with towels. We had a room on first floor, looking at the parking area, one floor higher would have made a difference. Just within walking distance to city centre, but very close to ferries and cable car
