"Room air con made a lot of noise to no effect, consequently room was hot at night. Bathroom extractor fan broken and room smelt damp. Wash basin plug did not seal effectively requiring tap to be left running when in use. Breakfast good. Position excellent for RSC."

"We only had an overnight stay, but the hotel was excellent. Very clean and a beautiful smell throughout. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Will try to get back there again some time to use some of the facilities, as we didn't have time for golf or swimming."

"Had a lovely two night stay at the the Double Tree by Hilton at Stratford Upon Avon. Located within easy walking distance to the town centre. There is plenty of parking, although even guests have to pay which is wrong. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, although our used plates weren't cleared from our table very promptly. Rooms were clean and well kept."

"Room is good size and comfortable. Aircon didn’t work very well. Some reception staff were good but one, possibly new, didn’t seem to know what to do. We’ve stayed before and it’s very handy for the theatre with plenty of parking at reasonable cost. We didn’t have breakfast this time as we’ve eaten there before and it was dreadful. We had tea in the bar while waiting for checkin but were driven out by the awful muzac and the constant thudding, headache inducing beat in every song. Unfortunately you could also hear it in the nearby sitting room. Guests should be aware that there are no lifts and frequent short flights of steps with no ramps."
