Good stopover
"Comfortable, although our bedroom looked out onto an area with what sounded like a generator on and off all night! Very clean and tidy and breakfast was good. Restaurant area was a bit refectory like though. Convenient area"

Wonderful Stay at the “Cabar”
"This is a lovely hotel. It is said to be the best on the island. Food is great. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. Service is first rate. The manager, Marcus, is charming and informative. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Great to meet owners lovely people helpful and thoughtful gave us good information about island and we enjoyed our stay , 5 minuets from Stornaway town centre by car . We had a great time done all the stone circle visits and went down to Harris beaches took 1 hour to get there well worth the visit ..."

A very interesting area to visit. The Hebridean Celtic Music Festival was an added attraction. Visit made extra special by the excellent friendly, helpful staff at The County Hotel - best porridge and lasagne.

Met our expectations but due to rain, which is no ones fault some of out activities had to changed
