Quaint hostel close to large park and the st eriksplan flybus stop to airport. I would stay there again. Breakfast was standard swedish cereal, lunchmeats, and bread with juice and coffee and rea.

We were tourists but also attended an academic meeting. Hotel does not have dark drapes for sleeping at midsummer. Elevator starts after a half flight of steps.

Stockholm family run hotel
The hotel was clean and tidy and about a 30 minute walk to Old Town. Although on a bus route I saw few buses but there was an underground station. The hotel was handily placed by a stop for the coach to the airport. It was disappointing not to have on-suite facilities or at least a wash basin in the room and I did not notice this when booking. However the hotel was inexpensive, had a good breakfast and had plenty of retaurants close by.

Solid, but missing amenities and no in-room Wi-Fi
Kind of crimped the business trip to not have Wi-Fi in the room, even though it was advertised as having in-room Wi-Fi. It was also clean and friendly, but lacked many of the normal hotel amenities (e.g. no soaps in the bathroom/shower, etc.) Otherwise not bad; friendly staff, clean room, easy access, relatively central, etc.

Beautiful view out our window. So convenient for drop off from Arlanda airport bus. Clean comfy bed and bath. Wonderful breakfast. Confusing to find the door to lobby. Someone should paint over graffiti on the stairs down to street below.

The hotel was difficult to find. We found the address and there was a sign that made it appear you had to go around the building, but in reality you had to get buzzed in and go up a flight of stairs. There was a shared bathroom which was not noted on the site. In addition they do have free wi-fi, but because of the number of guests on the single router we were never able to get internet service and had to go to a convenience store nearby. This was a reasonable hotel for Stockholm, but had I known the items noted above I may not have stayed there.

Character, good service, and nice price
Really kind and friendly staff. Substantial breakfast spread. Room and bathrooms very clean. The hotel, located within a former complex of worker living spaces within a 19th century factory that closed in the 1960's, has a lot of character. Conveniently located across on St. Eriksplan near the bus to Arlanda, which is about 40 minutes away. Right at subway stop of same name, within walking distance of a number of restaurants. I am glad that I ignored a number of negative comments about noise that appeared on line and went ahead and stayed there.

Absolutely excellent for a short stay
The huge advantage is being close to the airport bus stop. The only big disadvantage is that the bathroom facilities are on the floor. However, they honestly inform you about this. The service is great, the stuff is very helpful, the breakfast is small but it is absolutely OK, the location is great: close to everything but located out of the most touristic spots.

Central comfortable accommodation
Felt very comfortable at this small but very personable hotel. Quick access to trains and buses but also within walking distance to Central station. Staff were really friendly and very helpful.

Cheap but clean hotel
The hotel is on one floor of the building. You have enough bathrooms available. The breakfast tables are located in the corridor so you can end up in a room with the breakfast table a your door. The room is clean and the furniture are quite old but in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A weird hotel, but I liked it!
Wasa Hotel is a very strange little hotel, located in large flat in an apartment block. The hotel is a bit run down, and sports a somewhat bizarre decor. Being there feels like staying in a David Lynch movie. So not to everyone's taste perhaps, but I liked it. Despite the weirdness, the bathrooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is entirely decent for the size of the place, and most of all it's a cheap place to stay in a great location.

Nice little hotel with shared bathrooms. Nice welcome. Nice rooms for a short stay. Close to the city center. Very bad acoustic from the corridor, don´t expect to be able to sleep in the morning if your room neighbors are already up and taking their shower, speaking out loud etc. Bad internet connection on one side of the hotel, good connection on the other side.

The hotel was fine, although getting all the baggage into the small elevator was a little difficult. The personnel was nice and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were shared with other guests and not always clean.

A bit Spartan
The hotel is basic but acceptable. Shared bathrooms and they were clean but tired. A handbasin in the rooms would be helpful. Breakfast is also very simple. Location was good with the hotel conveniently located at the airport bus set down and pick up. Stockholm is expensive and so it was useful being able to find accommodation at reasonable rates.

My flight arrived into Stockholm early in the morning at 7am. I decided to go to the hotel to drop off my luggage before checking out the city. Even though it was too early for me check in at 9am, the hotel staff asked if I wanted to take a shower (since they have shared bathrooms at the place). I took him up on the offer and felt refreshed after a long international flight from the U.S. West Coast.

We were expecting a hotel. There are comparatively few shared bathrooms for many rooms. Cleanliness of the bathrooms leave something to be desired. I feel it should be clearly designated as a hostel. On the plus side the place is close to the city centre.

simple, but quiet
A simpel hotel, but quiet. My own WC would have been nice. Simpel breakfast, could have been youghurt and ham and egg also. Nice bed and the temperature was OK. Hotel location was OK, about 15 minutes walk to the center of Stockholm. Amenities not so good. Only the bed. I did not see so much of the service, but it was good that it was staff there also in the night.

I wouldn't describe the Wasa Park a Hotel exactly, but even though it didn't rate very well overall it had some redeeming qualities. The location was quite good being close to metro and buses - 100metres away. It was reasonably clean, but quite old and mattresses were not too good. Overall acceptable for a couple of nights as a quick stopover. The staff were very friendly and helpful also. Tony B - Australia

Don't bother staying at the Wasa Park Hotel
Stay away from this hotel. I chose this hotel because I was looking to save a little money over a large commercial hotel located in the more tourist-y areas of Stockholm. When you arrive you are greeted by a buzzer and unclear signs as to where the check in desk is. The hotel manager (a woman) did not give me the room I had booked (one with a double bed) and gave me three twin beds instead. While I was aware that I would have to share a bathroom - I had assumed there would be adequate facilities for everyone. Instead, over 20 people competed for two bathrooms. I am an avid traveler - and can survive with very little - but I payed a hotel rate to stay in a building which would be more appropriatly called a hostel. I would think that hotels.com would screen these properties better.

Beutiful old town - too old hotel !!
We are a married couple , aged 57 and 65. We have stayed at several different hotels - in several different countries - during the last 30 years. We found the hotel old and rather uncomfortable, old and unmodern furniture, small rooms, with common bathroom in the corridor, a very small breakfast room (the guests had to wait for a free seat ), and the breakfast menue was really rather scarce! We also have to say that we did not feel comfortable as for our security in case of fire ( the hotel is on the first floor, with only one stair and the gate to the street opening inwards.....). We are also sorry to say that the hotel appeared a little "shabby". But the staff were nice and polite and did their best! And Stockholm is a fabulous town, - we were very much impressed, - for instance by the beauty of "Gamla Stan"... ! We would like to return to Stockholm on vacation in the future, - but we think we would prefer another hotel for the next time.

Wasa Park Hotel - quality at low price
My room was comfortable and clean, and faced on a quiet street. Sharing bath and toilet was no problem and the shared facilities were kept neat and clean. Some minor repairs were needed but did not interfere with convenience. Breakfast was healthy and substantial. The building is old and charming; convenient to the metro and the airport bus, but facing a park so it is quiet. The stairs and ancient lift might be a hardship for someone with physical handicaps, however. I found the management considerate and kind.
