Family Fun
My daughter’s and grandchildren and I had a wonderful family vacation. Everyone absolutely loved the kayaks. It rained quite a bit while we were there but the kids never got bored. The big kids played pool and ping pong and video games. The little kids played board games and dress-up and toys. We adults loved sitting by the gas fire pit. We will definitely visit here again!

This place is remote, which is what we wanted. We brought in plenty of food and water, and enjoyed quiet family time. Really enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and the outdoor grill. We were comfortable and felt safe. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and the lake views were really nice!

Quiet get away with some disappointments
We have a mixed review. While we enjoyed the week - it is certainly a quiet, peaceful, fun location with a friendly owner - there were disappointments. We felt the photos in this listing were taken some time ago. House didn't seem as "fresh". General maintenance is needed. Nothing detracted from our fun, but should be taken care of at this price point. We've stayed in many VRBO's of similar price. This was the first to disappoint in this regard. Burnt out light bulbs, light fixture dangling from ceiling, broken window, some holes in towels/washcloths. Several windows need to be replaced, so as not to detract from the gorgeous views with whatever is growing on the glass. It should be mentioned that kayaks are shared with the joint property, as the same photo of the kayaks and canoe are in both listings. It caused confusion each time a new family arrived next door. We had to wait to use them on several occasions. Clearly labeling and separating kayaks and oars to each home would be helpful. The canoe was rotted and took on water. We didn't see a paddle boat. The home has all necessities. While we couldn't make calls from cells, even with wi-fi, there is a landline phone. The lake was quiet. The kids had a fantastic time fishing off of the dock. The boat dock was maintained and perfect for our needs. The pool table, darts, and ping pong table were a big hit. If you can overlook these things, this is a perfect relaxation spot. General upkeep would make this home perfect.

Beautiful Lake House
We absolutely LOVED our stay, and wished we could've stayed longer! ❤️ We're glad we arrived before dark and downloaded/printed directions beforehand since you will lose service and some of the roads don't have street signs. That being said, we loved the ride there, and the seclusion of the property was a huge selling point for us!! What a beautiful place with an incredible view. We only wished we'd had better weather for our stay so we could have done more outside.The house has a TON of indoor entertainment. We played ping pong, darts, arcade games, board games, and thoroughly enjoyed the pool table! The house has plenty of space and seating. The kitchen was amazing, the couch too, and we all loved the giant bean bag! The beds were great. And omg, the Jacuzzi bathtub and walk-in shower left us all feeling like we were living the life of luxury during our stay. Thank you so much! 😊

Kentucky Lake Spring Break
The experience at the Kentucky Lake VRBO property was mixed. Despite an accommodating host, several issues detracted from the stay. A strong odor upon arrival, possibly from overpowering fragrance plug-ins, was problematic, especially for those with respiratory sensitivities. Other issues such as a broken picture, a dangling can light, and burnt-out light bulbs contributed to a sense of neglect in property upkeep. Highlights included enjoying the boat dock and lift, as well as the peacefulness of the location.

Remote and wonderful
We had a great time here. A quiet cove off the Tennessee River/Kentucky lake. Home was great and just as advertised. No cell service makes it really pleasantly disconnected and strong WiFi at the house gives you just enough connection as you want. Beautiful stars at night, love it as a real get away. Thanks!

Christmas Getaway
Our family from Iowa was looking for a home we could rent with our 2 dogs located not far from Nashville, as our oldest son currently lives there. We were looking for a remote location with a nice view to spend a peaceful family Christmas, and this property completely delivered! I was grateful Denise highly recommended us arriving in daylight. Some of the roads you have to drive on to get there would definitely create some challenges in the dark, but well worth it to be away from the hustle & bustle of city life. As stated in previous reviews, Denise has the home stocked with everything you need other than food & drinks. On that topic, I had confirmed prior to arrival that the home is on well water & purchased bottled water. However, we found the tap water tasted perfectly fine & we drank it all week. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a large Christmas meal, and multiple meals the rest of the week as well. Other than making one Wal Mart run for groceries, we remained on property all week long. We had a wonderful time playing poker, ping pong, corn hole (all provided at the home), and were able to access streaming for movie nights as well. The fire pit was beautiful! Our oldest son did have to work part of the time there, and although the location is so remote, he was able to access WiFi without issue and participate in work calls via internet. This property absolutely met all expectations & I would highly recommend it if you are truly wanting a remote getaway!

Thanksgiving Gathering
This property was perfect for our family. We are retired military and our children live in other states so we gathered here with them and all our grandchildren. There was plenty of room, made some great memories. I definitely would stay again. Beautiful House, just like the pictures ❤️

Amazing Stay
We rented the lake house for a bachelor party and we couldn’t have asked for a better rental. The home was full of games, activities, and had so much space. I would absolutely recommend staying here for a family get together or a fun weekend away with friends!

Little Slice of Lake Paradise
This property was exactly what I was looking for AND more!! There were many bonus amenities that were a pleasant surprise (ice machine, arcade games, paddle board, Lily pad,etc.) The electric lift in the dock for our boat was a great added feature. Loved the fenced in area for the dog, he's older and can't do stairs well, but loved watching us in the lake. We have two teenagers and there was plenty for them to do, didn't really use the games inside, put the pool room was a big hit. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space. We are already planning our trip for next year and are allowing the kids to bring a couple friends. Like others have suggested bring what you need, but the town is about 30 mins away if you need something. Communication between the host and I was great, even checked in mid trip to make sure everything was going perfectly.

The Perfect Family Vaca Getaway!!!
What a fabulous vacation!! What more can I say...The house was beautiful, so much room for all of us and included everything we could have wanted. The game room was a huge hit, as were the arcade and board games provided. The view was great, and the decks gave us a chance to spread out and really enjoy the beauty of the landscape and lake. Denise was a wonderful host and always in contact with us to make sure our stay was all we had hoped. Both she and Heather (the cleaning person) went above and beyond to make it the perfect stay...right down to a wonderful surprise from Heather of a yummy danish and local coffee! The water toys were an added bonus and our grandkids enjoyed them immensely! We will definitly book again with Denise!!!!

Amazing week!
We stumbled upon this property last summer and we’re blown away by the pictures. We book it for the Fourth of July, and this property was by far the best place we have ever rented. The pictures online are great but don’t do the house justice. There is so much space to spread out and relax, but still have the room to enjoy family time. Our daughters loved all the games and pool table available. The paddle boards and canoes were and added bonus. Having a dock and storage for the boat as such an added plus. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. We will for sure be back! (Note: very winding road coming in and take everything you need because it a long drive back)

Great summer escape
My family had a wonderful time spending a week at this home. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock along with tubing on the lake. The owner provided lots of toys such as kayaks, paddle boards and lilly pads. The Lilly pad was a big hit with our grandsons. They also loved the pool table for nighttime fun. Overall great vacation!

The location was beautiful, great access to the water. We celebrated my mother-in-laws 80th birthday. Roads very hilly and curry but to be expected that close to the lake. The yards landscape could use some TLC has some over growth and weeds in the flower beds. The house was beautiful plenty of room to spread out. Watch out for your toes on the raised platform down stairs and remember to turn your cell phone on to allow WI FI calling if you want to be able to make calls.

Restful Location for Fun & Family Olympics
We have stayed at many VRBO rentals. This is a lovely home with many personal touches that accommodated 6 adults (2 daughters and husbands) plus a dog. There is everything that you need except food. Denise was very helpful when we had any questions. It is remote but very quiet and there are many things to do if you choose to just stay there. One daughter and her husband went out kayaking. All of us played “family Olympics”. Couples teams competed in darts, corn hole, billiards and ping pong – which are all provided – and the result was a great deal of fun and laughter. We did venture out to various places which were 30-45 minutes away. One interesting place is the Wall Art-Park in Waverly Tennessee. It's a small quiet town but this public art installation is very unique.

BEAUTIFUL location and lovely house
This is an amazing location and a really nice, comfortable house to stay in. There were a few hiccups with things but the owner was super responsive and made sure we were comfortable and felt appreciated. Views are wonderful, very private area. Would love to stay in better weather so we could take more advantage of the wonderful lake! It's quite remote, no cell service, but wifi is great and if you just want some alone time it's lovely.

What a wonderful home! (the owners also have another VRBO next to it if you need it.) Steps right down to the water, TONS of amenities, wonderful kitchen, the hosts could not possibly have been more helpful or kind or hospitable, I definitely want to come back to this property again. One note: if there is snow, this is the kind of place you may be trapped into for awhile. I call it wonderfully remote, about 25 minutes from nearest groceries. SUPER glad we booked this one.

We had such an amazing weekend staying at this property. Not only was the home beautiful but it was extra roomy for 6 adults and 4 children. We stayed entertained even though it was during the winter months with the kayaks, game room and spectacular views. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone!

Was a great week, the place worked out perfect. Communication with Denise very easy, was a tough travel day getting there but for us it made it that much more memorable. We were well aware weather could be a factor when I booked. Lake was froze but me personally loved the quiet. Watching eagles and other wildlife relaxing. Imagine summer time would be great as well. Excellent stay
We rented this property for Thanksgiving week and had an amazing time! The homeowners were great they called the day before check in to see if we had any questions. The pictures don’t do the property justice there was plenty of room there was 12 of us and on thanks giving 5 more of my children and grandkids showed up for dinner and there was plenty of room. The weather was great got to go kayaking, fishing and just out enjoying the property. We also have too big dogs and don’t go anywhere with out them and they happily accepts dogs of any size. The house is well stocked with everything you could need and more really the only thing you need is food, fishing poles and good company. I am already looking to rent again next year if they have us back. There is really nothing negative to say but the only thing I can say is maybe the steep hill but it really isn’t that bad. Ohh and the nearest store is like 30 minutes so don’t forget nothing.

A gorgeous quiet getaway!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful property on Kentucky Lake. We aren’t boaters but we were (4 adults and 2 dogs) traveling through Tennessee in October and this caught our eye. The property is beautiful and the views were spectacular (especially during the fall colors). The fenced in yard was perfect for us. The space was large and well layed out, the beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We also had a blast playing ping pong and pool on the very nice game room table. We only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and just hanging out!

The location was beautiful - enjoyed the fall colors, having deer in the yard and seeing a bald eagle. The weather was great for October making it possible to fish off the dock, kayak, boat, play football in the yard during the day and gather together for s'mores around the fire pit and flashlight tag at dark. Our hostess was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions. Loved it!

10 days was not enough
If you are looking to relax, unwind, and disconnect from the world, this is the property you have been searching for. The views were amazing. There were multiple seating areas that allowed different groups to congregate inside and outside. Our adult son, an avid fly fisherman landed a huge Carp from the dock. The kitchen is big and equipped to prepare and cook a family meal. We really enjoyed playing pool and making S'mores. The three bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. The kayaks and canoe provided a lot of fun.

Great Vacation!
First off, Denise, the owner was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is amazing and we plan to go back next year. The house was stocked with everything we needed. All we brought besides our suitcase was food/drink and fishing gear. It is very secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. There is a canoe, kayaks, life jackets and many other lake toys. The dock was great for swimming and our dog loved it. A great place to get away from it all.

Prior to arrival the owner reached out to see if we had any questions and also to let us know the home is in a very rural area. Upon arrival the house is gorgeous. With 10 of us the kitchen could accommodate lots of chefs. The master bath is insane. It's massive with amazing amount of storage. Billiards room was great hang out spot when the weather turned rainy. The house was steps away from the large dock. Professionally finished and perfect for the family to utilize all the water sports. Great gas fueled fire pit and plenty of out door seating. The little kids hangout area was so fun. Plenty of parking available. A few very steep hills driving to the house. Everyone loved the house!

You won’t be let down!
The house is beautiful with everything you need! We only stayed a weekend and would have liked to stay and enjoy longer. The lake was quiet, and the houses are far enough away, it feels private. This is a good place for both parties and family time.

The property is beautiful. Great spot on the lake. Very remote. Hardly any boat traffic. About 10 min boat ride for re-fueling. House is very big. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and sleep. Private boat launch and dock were so convenient. We brought our own water toys, but several kayaks and canoe on property with life jackets!! The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, cookware, and small appliances. Dining table sat 10 adults easily! Grateful for the generator on property. Kicked in automatically when we temporarily lost power due to storms. Thanks a million to the hosts. Checked in with us a few times, and very responsive. Would gladly rent this property again.

This is such an amazing property! The house is beautiful and The view is even better. The owner is so kind and very responsive! We enjoyed our days boating, swimming off the pier and the evenings was spent playing games in the game room! We had a wonderful time, made some great memories and are hoping to go back next year!
