Easy access to Arches national Park, plus amenities like a kitchenette, laundry facilities, a hot tub and grill that make it easy and comfortable to spend some time and relax after a dusty hike. Only negative was room was kind of dark and the A/C loud but the rest of the positives more than made up for these small things.

Bad check in process.
The lady that checked us in was not kind. She did not welcome us. I had a question as to where our hotel was because our instructions said that we were to check in at The Steamboat Hotel. She looked at me as if I were stupid and said The the Lodge is right behind the building where I checked in. She was snippy as well, so, I was snippy back and said "well, I had no way of knowing that. My instructions did not tell me where my hotel was, just that I had a different hotel to check into. At that point she seemed to realized that she was not behaving politely and corrected her attitude. I did feel very uncomfortable and I think that she needs training on the fact that she is in the hospitality business. It is her job to make everyone that walks into that hotel feel welcome and that she is happy that we chose their hotel for our stay and answer any questions in the most polite way possible. No one should walk away feeling like I did. I would return to the hotel because I thought it was a good value for the price. Coffee was excellent and we appreciated the continental breakfast.

Clean & helpful
Room & bathroom were simple, but clean. I was babysitting my granddaughter so cleanliness was important to me. I would like to add that while I was trying to leave room with granddaughter, her items and my bags one of the staff very kindly helped me bring everything down to my car. This was much appreciated. Highly recommend the Steamboat Mountain Lodge

Check in was terrible, I booked the room for $89 and they said the total bill was $120, never gave me a receipt m. Next day breakfast as to start at 7 am nothing was ready no hot water snd out of coffee. We went to go back in our room and the door would not open. Thankfully we had all our stuff in the car prior to breakfast

We on property don't see what you paid for the room all we see is it was paid. If you have a billing issue you need to contact Expedia as they were the ones you paid. I will speak with my staff about the breakfast issue you encountered. We do apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to see you again in the future to try and exceed your expectations.

The property is run down and pretty neglected. Front desk service uninterested to say the least. Way overpriced for the level of facilities and service.

The place was nice except for we didn't have any hot water. After talking with the front desk and maintenance it was decided that they would give us a new room. Once they found out that we booked through Expedia they told us that they could not change it, so we stayed in a room that had no hot water and then sink.

Loved everything about it!....... and at an affordable price! Only disappointment was the all carb breakfast. Yogurt was the one exception. We ate one and then left to go find somewhere to eat breakfast.

We had a room opposite the parking lot. It had a beautiful, quiet open space with trees and bushes and mountain view. There is a wonderful walking trail along the river. The lodge wood, stone fireplace, rustic décor, and beautiful mountain view of the Great Room is a cozy place to sit and read or to enjoy the breakfast. Quiet and safe a few miles from downtown.

We loved the lodge like interior. Our room was a good size, clean, basic amenities of coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and tv were all we needed. We were located on ground level conveniently next to the common area and ice machine. The breakfast offerings were good and we ate there both mornings. The beds were comfortable and we slept well not hearing any noise outside our room. The view outside our window was lovely.

Broken plug in bathroom, no elevator, uncomfortable bed, key turned off night before we we were scheduled to depart, no staffing at front desk and unsupervised guests running up and down the halls.

Relaxing Visit
We rented 3 rooms, all rooms looked out over the mountains...beautiful...rooms were in great shape, a/c worked well, bed comfortable, bathroom and room clean. Housekeeping very nice and efficient, Front desk Shawn such a nice personality and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning....great, good amount of choices and clean environment.

The place is clean, the bed is not so comfortable and there was a leak in the bathroom (could be from the sink or toilet set. Breakfast is included and decent which is a plus. It’s great for a short stay and you wanna save money 👍

Nice setting near the river and easy to find right off Hwy 40. Nice community room and the complimentary lite breakfast was very good. There were more options then the usual lite breakfast.
