The staff here were so friendly and so kind. We were pleased with every interaction we had. The room was fine and clean. The pools were very well maintained and we liked the option of having two pools to pick from! The gym is on the older side and did not have free weights. The restaurant attached to the hospital and the one on the beach are still not open and that was a bummer! They are in an excellent location and would have made the stay a 10/10. The location however was great, 10 min to downtown or to the beach and was easy to get too. Lots of restaurants door dash or deliver so we never had a problem. We would stay again!

Pre covid this place would be a very nice place I feel. The restaurants looked very nice but since covid they’re shut down. AC was absolutely horrible. Did not cool room down at all. They really could take the time to clean the little beach area up so it’s not covered in seaweed. Overall my kids had fun in the pool and we only stayed 2 nights.

We really enjoyed our stay as the property was very nice, clean rooms, great staff and good location. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not operational, but would highly recommend if you want a quiet and relaxing stay.

Love hotel
The rooms were fantastic. Was put by the dog walk for my service dogs. Joel was so nice!! Only issue was with the contractors with Brothers were above us and kept slamming the sliding glass door.

I loved being so close to the bay and watching it from my room. The property was close (driving) to stores, restaurants, and many beautiful places to visit in St. Petersburg.

There was nothing to like about this property. Private beach was a pile of sand in a backwater marina with too much seaweed to get to the water due to smell. Restaurant and bar were closed. this was a motel not hotel. Manager Joe would not talk to me when after 20 minutes we needed to cancel our reservation. I would not allow my daughter to spend one night in this place. I had to contact my credit card to get my money back. There were 4 cars in the parking lot, so there was very low likelihood that he was not going to have rooms for other misinformed travelers This place should be removed from your website! There are not enough words to describe how aweful this place was.

Ac until was extremely loud and rattling. No restaurant or bar. Saw insects in the room. It smells like mildew. The staff couldn't care less about our concerns and tried to say I booked 2 nights instead of one. I will never be back.

The staff is very nice and helpful. Perfect place for children with the pools. Access to the grounds with sliding doors to the pool area and beach was really nice. The view of the bay from the pool area is awesome. All of the mature plantings are lovely.

Excellent stay.
The grounds are amazing. Beautiful resort with two heated pools and a whirlpool, along with a beach and view of Tampa Bay. Easy access. Staff helpful with all requests. No restaurants at this time. Quiet area but near enough to stores, restaurants, beaches and night life. I275 next door so some road noise but rooms face away from highway so it was not a problem. Resort is older but acceptable. Quite a different feel from our usual rentals. We had a great time.

No marina and poor excuse for a resort
Every amenities that was listed under the description of this hotel was unavailable. We chose a marina because we planned a family fishing trip and wanted the ease of access to the water. The boat ramps weren’t even open at this hotel! The rooms were outdated. We were not even able to get a cup of coffee. Despite all of this the hotel did not reduce the price per night at all. Over $250 per night at this resort and marina with additional resort fees required and not one of the resort or marina amenities were available. We were beyond disappointed with our stay here. In the future, I would suggest to at a reduction in price be implemented to reflect all of the reduced services.

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel. It's not at all like it's presented. They closed all the hotel restaurants, the bar, and the kitchen in March 2020 due to covid and they haven't re-opened any of them, which is surprising since many restaurants have re-opened and are able to do it safely with precautions. When we arrived in our room, there were still crumbs of food on the carpet from previous guests. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping only cleaned the room/replaced towels once. It had the feel of an old FL resort-type hotel in its death-throws, trying to hang on for one more season.

Nice place to stay near Fort Desoto Beach
The front desk clerk was wonderful. Even though they are short staffed and can’t have a restaurant open, they have food options and microwaves we can use. We were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view. The grounds are well maintained, and the marina will be repaired soon. Our room was better than the ones we’ve had in the past here. Seems like they may have undergone renovations

see their picture to the left. That's my backyard from my room. Great. The other side is a good parking lot, one hard court tennis court in poor condition, a road and the high way, but can't hear it in my room. The rooms are small but OK, no microwave. Faucets wabbly. clean, comfortable beds, nice back terrace, very small but great environment. 2 pools and a jacuzzi. Restaurant nice but closed.

Loved it!!! Old school cute hotel. Staff is amazing, from front desk to house keeping, also security patrolling parking and despite not having restaurants open, the hotel premises are good, the view is amazing, it is close to everywhere you want to go, very convenient and because it’s not huge, you avoid crowds :).

I loved the room. I loved the service. I loved the pool. The only thing I’m really disappointed in, they are not fully open. They advertise a tiki bar and a restaurant. Right after I booked the room for two nights, if I cancelled I would have to pay for one night. The restaurants and bars were closed. There wasn’t any restaurants or bars walking distance. They told us after we booked the room. 😢 if they had things open I would give it a great review. I paid a-lot of money too. Wait to make sure everything is open before you book here.

Another Amazing Stay
Another perfect stay! I wish the restaurant & tiki bar was open, but I completely understand the safety of the staff. Front desk gentleman was super helpful & friendly! Our room was perfect, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. The views are beautiful! I always enjoy walking the grounds day & night! We’ll be back soon! ☺️

Motel rooms need renovation.
Service was good and the courtyard was just as pretty as the pictures, but I will not go back again. I do not feel it is worth the cost as the interior decor is very outdated and an eyesore. The water, beach, did not seem clear or in use. I would suggest music played at the pool. Our first room had a huge tree blocking The view. Had to change our rooms.
