Good Restaurant
Good stopover point. No breakfast but the restaurant serves really good dinners at reasonable prices.

A very nice place to stay! Microwave, fridge, coffee in rooms. Satellite, and a very nice touch with a wall mounted fire place under the tv. Beds were comfortable. A delicious meal in the dining room and the bartender/waitress was very good!

Our room was fine but our dining experience was not good We waited over an hour for our food and many tables around us were served before us Our server made excuses but she forgot to put in our order My lobster crab roll ( in a hamburger bun ) was a joke !

Beautiful views, comfortable beds, and a nice dock that we sat out on to enjoy the weather. Stores, restaurant's, dining all within a 5-7 min walk. The staff were very friendly.

Clean comfortable rooms. Great value. Nice location beside St Peters canal and it was nice to walk around there. Restaurant was also very good.

Disappointing in-room Basic Services
It’s a nice room, looks good, clean and with some more modern updates. We were only there a night so a lot of amenities didn’t matter. What did matter was in the room - and that wasn’t good. Wifi? Forget it. Couldn’t connect. So many dead spots - I had to do gymnastics to get a stable signal. Fireplace? Didn’t work. TV? Couldn’t control the volume with the remote. That’s it. And the halls smell musty.

We completely agree! The issue is we have limited suppliers of wifi and the cable... same supplier. This is very frustrating to us as well. We are working on this and appreciate your visit!

A great way to start our trip
Use it as a starting point for our trip around the Cape Breton Island. It was perfect. A nice little lodge with a very good restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed and room were very good size and also very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone as a starting for finishing point to a trip around the island
