Great value for money
Excellent value for money, easy access into St Andrews and great service. The only negative is that the walls are paper-thin and the fire doors slam so we got woken up by other guests several times late at night /early morning. Breakfast was good.

Flat layout with communal lounge and kitchen shared between 5 rooms makes this a great choice for individuals or groups. Bedroom was on a par with Premier Inn. Very clean and warm room with nice linen. Tea and coffee tray. The en suite shower room and particularly the shower is very small but adequate. The grout and silicon around the shower was due a refresh. Great breakfast choice, hot and cold and lots of vegetarian options. On site bar and bistro.

Loved the full kitchen in the suite, lots of space, easy access to St. Andrews proper, great, affordable breakfast in the dining hall. Ideal for families.

Perfect for a group - individual rooms plus gathering space and kitchen. 25 minute walk to campus. Ask for a top floor unit for the views!

Comfortable stay.
Comfortable stay with everything you need available. (Need to get a hairdryer from reception and leave a deposit). Cold breakfast buffet excellent, but difficult to keep cooked food buffet hot and appetising from the servery. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again.

Clean, efficient, low cost college housing. Even those long past their college years can enjoy being around young people and appreciate an exceptional value. Although the room is small, it was comfortable enough. The shower is really tiny, though. Just a corner that is partitioned by a curtain, so the bathroom floor gets wet.

Get what you pay for
You get what you pay for, nothing stunning but good enough, had a problem with a malfunctioning room card but was resolved by staff, breakfast was good had the usual variety. The main problem was the little blocks of what I thought were fudge that I saved for my 6 hour train journey back were in fact soap... massive disappointment. Apart from that all good

Student accommodation
Did what it said on the packet. Uni accommodation. Was clean and comfortable. Shared a kitchen with other rooms but not much on the kitchen, just tea and coffee making facilities. A fridge was there to put your cold products in. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Not good coffee! A large nespresso machine would be a huge improvement. V good price for accommodation that is close to the centre of st Andrews.

Needed to stay overnight in St Andrews
Most hotels were very expensive, saw this one and gave it a go. Excellent value for money nice lounge, good food, comfy clean room , comfy bed a new excellent breakfast. Staff were lovely very helpful.

An affordable hotel with a generous breakfast.
The accommodation was not quite what we expected. The advertising suggested we would get an apartment but we got just a room with access to a shared kitchen. So we felt a bit misled. I think they need to look at their marketing.

Going back to university
If you're okay for reliving your university dorm life then David Russell Apartments will be for you. The room is a basic dorm room, plenty of space, but very basic. The kitchen only had a few mugs in it so don't plan on making any meals there. The area is quite nice and we enjoyed a nice walk around the complex. The breakfast in the morning was buffet style and you could pick what you wanted to eat.

The accommodations were comfortable enough. Nothing fancy, but considering these are normally university halls of residence...not too bad! The breakfast in the morning was very good!!

Would not recommend.
Had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to stay in a college dorm room. The bed was terribly hard, only 1 towel and couldn't figure out how to get on wifi. There was a reception number to call for these things but no one answered the phone.

This is a university dorm
This is a university dorm converted to rentals in the summer. A very long walk (ca. 200 m) from the parking lot, and no lift to the upper floors. Kitchen is down the hall, shared with others, and has no pots or pans for cooking. Lots of the other rooms have loud parties of students who are staying over the summer. Various large items are stored in the halls. There is no front desk staffed during the night.

Accommodation within walking distance of the golf
The building and approach to the bedroom are very "institutional" The room was small. The bedside light didn't work. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work. The shower space was so small that water splashed everywhere and I was often embraced by the shower curtain. The breakfast was entirely self service but the food was lukewarm. It may be adequate as student accommodation, but is poor comfort or value for money in comparison with the local b & bs

Magnífica relación calidad/precio, muy amable el personal, excelente desayuno, posibilidad de cenar por 12 pounds. Algo alejado del centro de St. Andrews, a unos 20 min caminando (un paseo agradable) y con autobús en la puerta.

Une chambre dans un campus universitaire où ont étudié le prince William et son épouse. Super reposant, Idéal pour une famille, en couple ou entre amis car les chambres sont isolées du reste du campus avec une cuisine privative.

Correct compte tenu du prix mais ne vous attendez pas à une chambre d’hôtel. Le porte font un bruit terrible lorsqu'elle se ferme.

大学の卒業シーズンであったが部屋がとれた。
1つの入り口に5部屋ある。その5部屋に1つの台所が付いている。自炊も出来なくはないが食堂やバーがあり使うことは無かったが大きな冷蔵庫やレンジは食事をとり損ねた時に役にたつ。主に学生相手なので食事時間に制限がある。 シャワーはあるがバスタブがない。洗面所が狭く使いづらいので皆台所を使用した、だから困ることはなかった。パソコンやプリンターが使える。カードを買えば部屋の電話機が使える。少し長く滞在する若者にはとてもよい。

Svært enkle studentrom nær St. Andrews
Lite rom med meget smal seng for 2. Veldig enkel standard. Egentlig ingen hotellfasiliteter, men så er jo dette heller ikke noe hotell men studentboliger. Svært stive priser for dårlig standard. Men, det var gåavstand til St. Andrews og det var viktig under the Open Championship.. Bra frokost.

Enkelt, trevligt och billigt boende i st Andrews. Hjälpsam personal och god mat. Perfekt som utgångspunkt för utflykter i Five. Obs! Ingen hiss.
