My son and I stayed for one night. Staff very friendly and helpful, lovely room, very clean and nicely decorated, complimentary tea/coffee and chocolates plus drinks in fridge were fantastic. The breakfast was lovely a great selection of options with a fabulous seating area again very clean and tidy with lovely decor and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. Will most definately stay here again, great location and close to central town.😁

True to its name, the White Star Tavern is an authentic, unpretentious English pub. Both the public areas and rooms are clean and well appointment providing an atmosphere reminiscent fabled cruise line. The hospitality was remarkable. Shortly after dropping off our bags, I settled into a chair in the lounge when the manager offered me tea and pastries and took a few moments to chat with me. Food was good with a reasonable variety and prices. I would definitely stay here again when in Southampton. Note: the only downside is no elevators so best to pack an overnight bag to carry up the stairs.

Loved the property but beware there are no elevators or lifts although the front desk did help with taking my luggage upstirs and i managed to bring it down. Quirky hotel but i love quirky.
