it's nothing fancy but when on 'the island'......had a blast and would highly recommend this hotel. location was GREAT and staff was extremely friendly. I WANNA WANNA go back!

The rooms were great and much larger than expected! The hotel office staff was very helpful anytime we had questions about the island or any needs pertaining to our stay. All in all I would really recommend Wanna Wanna.

My 23 year old daughter & I stayed at Wanna Wanna during our vacation in Padre. It was a GREAT location, just across the street from the beach. The Bar & Grill at the hotel has the best fried shrimp I've ever tasted. We had a GREAT time!

This hotel is exactly what you expect from a beach hotel. We stayed on the beach side in a perfectly comfortable room with tile floors and a small kitchenette. Our room was cleaned daily, plenty of fresh towels and a good bar and grill just steps away. Live music on Saturday and Sunday. Well worth the price...

“Neat place to stay”

We stayed in the upstairs rooms across the street, with a nice deck and a patio table with a shade umbrella for each room. The deck had a nice view of the Gulf of Mexico. It was a short walk over to their outdoor bar and grill. They had live island music both Friday and Saturday, free, and it was right there on the beach.

the hotel was great! Our room was accross the street from the main hotel but we had a nice table and deck to sit in the morning and see the Gulf of Mexico. Better than the beach front rooms I think. The Wanna Wanna has great food and drinks. Great relaxed atmosphere...perfect for the beach!

“Lovely Little Island Getaway!!!!!”

My husband and I fell in love with this hotel. If you want a true island getaway I recommend this hotel. It's small and not real fancy but if you are looking for a place to enjoy the beach and really get the true island atmosphere this is the place to stay. The rooms are too cool, the murals add just enough island touch to make you like it. The Wanna Wanna Bar was the best. You can sit there have a good meal or a drink and just look out at the ocean and enjoy the view. We are already planning our next trip!
