"The hotel is sitting high. It’s like they carved out a section of the mountain and build the hotel. The property is clean tidy and well organized and properly maintained. The rooms, the common areas and the balcony overlooking the city are very spacious. Now, the most favorite part of my experience was with the kitchen staff. It would be remiss if I didn’t mention the two chefs in the kitchen by name. Miss Betty James and Miss Elizabeth. They supersede my expectations. If you want to get the experience of how Jamaican food should taste, stay at Majestic Heights. I wish Majestic Heights was close in the States around the Orlando area. Even if I don’t spend the night, I would love the opportunity to dine in. Thanks to all the staff, the experience was undoubtedly a memorable one."

"Everything was great! Pool was perfect , staff was wonderful and always on time with everyhthing we asked for. Was a little far away from most restaurants. But the staff organizing rides for us was always on time. Very nice establishment. "

"We had an amazing stay! The views were incredible, and watching the sunset every night was unforgettable. The chef was truly gifted and made excellent breakfasts and dinners for us each day.The home felt welcoming, clean, and beautiful. We loved going to the beach in the mornings and coming back to relax at the house and pool in the evenings. It was the perfect getaway, and we would absolutely stay again! "

"Our stay at Amelia’s was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. This is ideal for anyone seeking privacy, luxury, and an authentic Jamaican experience.As a single parent traveling with a teenage daughter, safety, cleanliness, and clear communication were essential, and Amelia’s exceeded expectations. The house is fully solar-powered with strong Wi-Fi. Although AC is available, we never needed it. The fans and cool mountain evenings kept the villa comfortable.Despite hurricane Melissa affecting nearby areas, the property itself was unaffected. We experienced a brief water interruption, which was resolved quickly, and the staff was extremely responsive.Access to the villa involves several stairs, so it may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. We forgot our mosquito repellent and regretted it. The team arranged an onsite hair braider for my daughter at a very reasonable rate. We provided the hair and tools, and the results were excellent. Natalie, the chef, was also available for off-property requests for a fee, and we reimbursed her for items purchased on our behalf, which made it easy to fully relax. Giovanni, the grounds manager, was always available, and Lorraine and team were attentive while still giving us privacy.Communication before and during our stay was excellent. I highly recommend Amelia’s for anyone seeking a peaceful experience. "
