I liked the proximity to Notre Dame. Fiddler's Hearth is great next door- preferred it better than the hotel bar. The renovation of the rooms and hallways was average at best for the charge. I did not like the open ceilings and the rooms aren't as nice as other Marriott property rooms that I've stayed at, e.g. Del Mar.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The only thing is that the toilet and shower are separated by a sliding door that does not close all the way, theres no way to lock it. So if you are sharing a room with friends, you can see inside the toilet/shower room. Also the shower sliding door is obviously glass, im not sure what happened but the shower door unhooked while i was mid shower. Thankfully my husband was with me to hold the door while I got dressed and went to seek help from the hotel staff before the door somehow shattered. Not a very toddler friendly hotel but we made it work. Walls were very thin or the doors are loud (slam when they close on their own) because we heard everyone else coming in and out of their rooms all night long.

Only real issue was hot water , Staff was fantastic, food was good wold have gave it 5 stars on everything but one day hot water in shower was scalding next time wouldn't get hot I would stay there again just because of the friendly staff

No cold water, only hot water & scalding hot water. Bathroom door was missing door handle, bare wood cutout exposed with no cover. Single bottle of water for 2 people. $20 parking when the garage next door is free. Gotta love the +$500 asking price for a gameday and the bar is not open at 11 for a 1:30 game.

Honestly, I have stayed here many times in the past twelve months. For the first time disappointed with condition of rooms. Evidence of a water leak noted in the one room and water leaking from floor above into the bathroom of the second room. My husband reported the issue but it was not remedied during our stay. Nor were other accommodations offered. Additionally the toiletry decanters in the shower were empty at check-in. Ordinarily the staff is so friendly and responsive but this visit there appeared to be a disconnect. Hope this is temporary.

So this is a tough review. We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. It started out with us in a really nice big executive suite, but the air conditioner was broken (it was summer) so they “upgraded” us to a smaller room with two Queen beds. Whatever, things happens. The bathroom door didn’t slide fully closed so you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the bathroom. The water temperature from the shower and sink was only hot or burning hot. We didn’t get any turn down service so I went down and asked and it turned out you had to specifically asked for your room to be cleaned (which wasn’t explained at check in). The room looked nice which was appreciated and the bar in the lobby was great. Otherwise, so so.

The property was nice and everything clean however customer service was terrible. We booked a King bed however were told they only had queens available, the parking price had increased from what was listed on their website, and although we also paid extra for breakfast she couldn't find it in the system although ultimately she "comped" it for us. Super snotty during this whole process as well.

Ridiculously low availability of parking and impossible to park with enough room to open doors because of how narrow spots were. Room smelled like smoking. Smelly, unsafe, dirty surroundings. No silent hours observed. For the quality of the location, the room was ridiculously overpriced.
