This hotel does not understand the concept of service. The reception staff were either “strange” but trying to help with what they have to work with or just outright rude. Also they were quick to blame the problem we had with room Assignment on Expedia in terms of not receiving our requested Assignment

Property was OK. Met our needs but place was moderately clean and the bar, a couple of buildings down the same block, kept us up half the night with the music and loud crowd.

Getting there - They have a shuttle that runs to and from the airport. It runs when there are planes to meet. Good location, you can walk to many things in town. Drug store (with ice cream counter) next door. There is a grocery store a few blocks away. The hotel restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the halibut on pasta and it was very good. If you want to go to the Fortress of the Bears, plan on taking the "Blue" bus. $2 per person, $1 for seniors each way. Catch it at the marina which is a few blocks away.

What should be a classic stay in an older rustic inn is not. It’s more like a motel 6 with bigger rooms and Very limited tv channels.
