Beautiful beautiful sisters beach
Really I'd prefer not to tell you how great this place is so it stays the gem it is. The house has everything, the kitchen is great (even a GF toaster+++) sunny deck, banksia paradise, views to sisters hills, access to walking, the "shop" (a cafe essentially but they have bread n milk). The stars are amazing and the ocean glitters. Please don't come here : )))

Fantastic stay yet again!
My family and I have been coming to this property for many years and thoroughly enjoyed our stay again! The property is a short walk to the beach and neat and tidy on the inside. Absolutely love the privacy and elevation of the house among the trees, you can barely see any other houses and we love this. When we had a small issue this was resolved quickly by the property manager which we appreciated. There is room for minor improvements on the outside: Suggestion to replace BBQ and outdoor picnic table on the deck would be much appreciated. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Lovely beach location
Tarkine Gates is a lovely home, beautifully appointed and situated at Sisters Beach. We would have loved to have stayed longer! The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and great having laundry facilities. There was also thought into providing games for kids and body boards for surfing. This was a wonderful location for exploring the Tarkine and the Nut at Stanley.

House itself was beautiful. Difficult to find from roadside. Not very well signposted. Even the house number was a little way down the driveway and not easily visible. Need to see the house number from road as you can't see the house until you get to the end of the driveway. Otherwise a neat, clean property.

Well- equipped and very clean. fenced yard was important for small children. comfy beds and spacious living area. Steps to front door may need slight repairing and railing. very steep driveway not suitable for boat/trailer etc, but easy to park and turn for cars once at the house.

Fantastic Place to stay for North West Tasmania
Just a great experience from start to finish. Quality furniture, lots of different sitting areas,big smart bathroom, ambient outside area and furniture. BBQ excellent and clean. Great location for the beach and other areas in this undiscovered area of Tasmania. Loved the wh ole place and communication etc

Amazing property!
My family and I absolutely love staying here! We've been coming for the past 6 years and always have an amazing time. The creek and beach are an easy 5 minute walk away, there are new skateboard/bike ramps, a basketball area and the new owners at the Little Sisters General Store are lovely and friendly. My husband got his coffee there everyday! We love that the property is surrounded by trees - it's so peaceful. Thanks for having us again and we can't wait to come back :)

Relaxing and secluded
Really great start to our Tasmanian break. Sister’s Beach is beautiful and walking in the adjacent Rocky Cape National Park was stunning. Might have been nice to have warning about the driveway! Required some juggling of the bikes on the bike carrier so that the tow bar and the bikes themselves didn’t hit the tarmac.

We stayed 2 nights and had a mixed experience. The inside of the house was clean, comfortable and spacious with modern appliances. However the yard is overgrown, with low visibility in the driveway and there were uncleared branches blocking the car park when we arrived. The worst part was the uncleaned, gross BBQ (mouldy and animal droppings). It took us an hour of cleaning to use it. The response from the host was delayed and disappointing. Sisters beach is a quiet getaway but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautiful long weekend in Sisters
We loved staying at this relaxing, clean and thoughtfully set up home. There was space for the kids to enjoy, a lovely functional kitchen, and the location close to the beach but nestled in the trees waa perfect. We’ll be back!

This modern, contemporary property worked well for our family. Located in a private spot on the edge of the bush it was very peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Wonderful!

Christmas holiday
From the first contact our experience renting this property was great. Our expectations of the property were exceeded with absolutely everything we needed to prepare for a family Christmas gathering. The amenities are of a very good standard, we found the beds very comfortable and there was so much space that we did not feel that we were on top of one another. Great touches were having a separate toaster for those requiring gluten free, a selection of board games and books, and a decorated Christmas tree. It’s easy walking to the beach and store where you can purchase a good coffee and it also has a bottle shop. One of the enjoyable features is that you sit in the treetops that surround the balcony. All in all it was a very positive experience and one we would like to repeat.

A chance to unwind
This is a lovely house in a beautiful, remote spot. There is no phone/internet service other than Telstra, which actually was good be because it allowed me to truly unwind and relax. My favourite spot was lying on the couch on the deck surrounded by trees and birdsong. The house is very comfortable and features modern appliances. My kids loved the skate park down the road. We also had a lovely lunch overlooking Boat Harbour Beach. I hope to return one day!

Spacious modern peaceful property, Inside faultless ,one toilet in bathroom for 6 people only issue. Outside nature beautiful so expect deck to be a bit messy, the driveway could be challenging for a small low to the ground car. Plenty of room we had a lovely bbq on the deck after we scrubbed the bbq, cleaning and everything provided, would definitely stay here again. The trees and birds and deck added bonus.

" SPECTACULAR "... Gorgeous beachside haven
Our family of 4 ( 2 teenagers)loved this gorgeous thoughtfully designed beach house in the beautiful secluded Sisters beach. it is modern and beautifully furnished with quality fittings and lovely designs and lots of touches( boogie boards for kids/ ample beach towels). The kitchen has great appliances and is well equipped and the washing facilities are excellent. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and has a serene feel. There is a lovely balcony with a very comfortable lounge. There is good mobile coverage so we could hotspot off our phones for internet. The stunning Sister's beach is a short few minute walk down the road. We were sad to leave, 4 days was not enough. We would love to come back and recommend this gorgeous house.

Only a short walk to the beach and in a very private and quiet location. The house was met our expectations although the driveway was a little overgrown which made it a little difficult to find and access the house. The house was very neat and tidy although the kitchen and bbq could have done with a bit more attention. I would recommend it for a family stay.

Hidden Gem
Sisters Beach was a lovely place to stay. The house was well furnished with more than adequate kitchen utensils and equipment. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The owners have certainly tried to think of everything you could want for a getaway. The washing machine, dishwasher and clothes airer were welcome inclusions.The area was quiet and the living room was a perfect place to relax. The beach is just a very short walk of about 5 minutes away and the house is conveniently located near the town of Wynyard which has a Woolworths and Cafe's etc. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday.
