Boutique Hotel Royal

"I stayed for 4 nights in the Royal Superior room. Charming and vintage hotel, but definitely, not a 5 star one. It is overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast was good, but repetitive. The location was excellent, although there is noise from the nearby restaurants and night clubs. A noise canceling set of headphones will be very helpful at night. FYI: A 1000 kr deposit will be held on arrival for the minibar."

"Excellent location within walking distance of everything, just across the street from the train station and steps away from the main pedestrian zone with all the stores. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful. Pretty decent breakfast with nice selections but if you're staying for more than 2-3 days it gets a bit repetitive. I love that they have a coffee machine that you can access any time of day or night! The room was pretty small but manageable for one person. I really wish there were more flat surfaces in the room. A small desk is just not enough to put everything down and to have space to work if needed. I found myself moving stuff from the desk to the bed and back to the desk multiple times a day. Just adding a shelf or a couple of small tables in the empty space could make a big difference. But overall it's a pretty nice hotel in a great location."
