Birthday celebration!

Perfect Sisters Getaway
This was a perfect rental for my sisters and I to reconnect with each other and unplug from the normal world. We loved the outdoor games and bonfire pit! So grateful to have found this gem. Would love to come back sometime!

Quiet & peaceful!
Quiet and peaceful! Very clean, well stocked. All we needed was right there. The wood burning stove (with wood provided) was such a relaxing, special treat! Just my husband & I. Much needed relaxation and retreat. Such a blessing! We will book again.

Quiet retreat
Very beautiful setting and quiet location. There’s no TV or Internet, but we really didn’t miss it! The beds are on the firm side. We prefer a pillow top Or memory foam, so it was a bit of a challenge in that respect. Otherwise, it was all positive.

Amazing property situated beside a field of cows and horses. Cabin is perfect for families and updated. Nice touches everywhere. Loved having fires each night and making S’mores. Played many games like bags and croquet that were available.

Amazing piece of God’s country
This property is an amazing hidden gem. Just give minutes from the activity of town but yet you feel so removed from the hustle and bustle of life. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. We are already planning another trip back!!!!

Everything was perfect!
No TV or Wifi? Who cares! Have a little bonfire, watch the horses, feed the fish and turtle, have coffee on the porch swing or check out all the fireflies at night. It was beautiful!

Peaceful Paradise
The cabin was beautiful as was the location of it. There were only three of us - myself and my two daughters - but it could have easily slept ten to twelve people. Fully furnished. The decor was stunning and anything and everything you could ever need was available to use. Perfect Paradise! So peaceful and relaxing.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Country Cabin
We loved this property. It's quiet and serene. The cabin was wonderful - so clean and everything was organized and labeled. It made for a stress-free stay. It's also just a few minutes from Shipshewana with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. This is a lovely getaway for families. Jackie made sure everything was easy and taken care of for our trip. This was a great trip!

Shipshewana getaway
This is the second year we have stayed at this property. It is very clean, love the area and love where this cabin is at. Peaceful, love hearing the horses in the pasture, watching the deer feed and feeding the fish and turtle in the pond. Absolutely love the fire pit! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed out little get away. Cannot wait to come back next year.

This was the best vacation. The house was clean, well decorated and very well kept. We truly enjoyed the fire pit and the serenity. We all need some true relaxation time and definitely received it there. I would recommend this home 100%.

Easy to find. Located on a beautiful property with a pond in front and horse pastures off to the side. Loved having fires at night in the woodstove. Very clean and well maintained. Nice way to spend the weekend with your significant other. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, laid back, very well taken care of property. However, if you are someone who likes to pamper yourself, or you can’t unplug, this would not be the place for you. The property owners are extremely helpful and welcoming and make it a cozy, homey stay.

Great place to stay and relax!
Our stay at Haven of Rest was great! Unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor firepit - but the house and surroundings promoted relaxation. We were at a conference and didn't spend much time at the house - but the time that we did spend there accommodated six adults just fine with plenty of linens and kitchen supplies!

From the shade of the trees by the pond, to the nought of electronics, this was most definitely an A+ getaway for us. We had so much fun as a family. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spotless and all the towels/bedding/wash cloths were all clean upon arrival as well. Jackie was an excellent hostess and was a perfect balance of keeping privacy and being attentive. We were out on the porch many evenings and watched the horses eating next door. We cooked all of our own meals and all the cookware was provided along with a nice Ninja blender for smoothies. Thanks again and will be back!

2nd time staying at this property
This was the second time I’ve stayed at this property with my family and friends. We came here back in February and had a blast, but we wanted to come back and enjoy the outside of the property. It did not disappoint! The property is beautiful. My kids enjoyed feeding the fish and going in the row boat on the pond. The bonfire area is very nice. We had a bonfire each night that we were there. The property is always super clean as well, which is huge to me right now. The owner is always a text message away if we need anything or have any questions. We’ll most definitely be visiting again!

My daughter and I wanted to unplug for a couple of days and this place was great. We enjoyed the fire pit even though it was windy and cold. It was very clean and well maintained. The only issue for us was the smell of the water, strong iron smell. Other than that we will be back in warmer weather.

We just stated this past weekend (10/9-10/11) and had a BLAST! This place is in a quiet area but SO close to Shipshewana. There was 4 of us for an all girl cousins weekend! We had so much fun shopping Saturday morning, then relaxing back at the cabin playing games! The cabin has a shed that also has yard games available which was so nice! There are fish in the pond that we were able to feed. It honestly was just an amazing stay. Very clean place, beds were nice as some where firmer and some softer. The bathroom is a little small but VERY doable. Honestly, if you want to have a nice and enjoyable weekend, check this place out! We are already planning another stay next year!

The property was well kept and beautiful. Everything indoors was clean. The property owners left everything needed and were very helpful in the welcoming binder. We stayed at the property for a weekend to visit family that lives in the area. My two children enjoyed the horses, the pond, and being able to run in the large yard. The property was extremely well maintained and very peaceful. Coffee on the porch swing while watching the horses and hearing the rooster crow was a great moment in this crazy world today. I did inform my family of the great accommodations and recommended them to look the property up for other family members that come to the area.
