"The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. "We hit 3 fantastic hot weather days . Very comfortable beds Lovely outlook out the back over the fields. Need to be able bodied to climb down the cliff and check high tide times as access to the beach is cut off at these times. Wonderful rock pools for young ones"
