They claimed soundproof room but I hear cars passing on road from 11th floor all night. Also can hear loud slamming of drawer and door…. On top of that, no tax refund supported here. Also shortage of 110v outlet especially near bed is also negative.. Only thing that I like were large room and full kitchen including full fridge. Would not recommend.

I love the way the front desk officers were very helpful and attentive. And the front desk were always cheerful when you ask for assistance. I like the hotel in general. However, the reason why I could not give a 5 star rating (which they deserve) is due to cleanliness of the bedsheets, linen, cover and pillowcases. Upon arrival my husband and I saw a dry yellow stain on the linen which was weird because usually hotels are very conscious of such concern. Then the bed covers and pillowcases have speckles of black color dust. Since I experienced itchy feeling when sleeping. It feels that there were dust mites on the bed (please note it is not bed bugs). But dust mites that cause the itchy feeling. What we did was to put the Leaf notice on the bed and that we require changing. Unfortunately, the bedsheets and everything on the bed were not change. Plus, the leaf notification note disappeared. On the third day I had no choice but to personally request this from the housekeeping lady to change the sheets. However, the bed covers and pillowcases were not change. And I got tired of asking so I had to endure that itchy feeling. If only these were change to brand new bedsheets, covers and pillowcases. I would have overlooked all of the discomfort on the 1st and 2nd days. We were at the hotel for 5 days.

The most comfortable stay I had at a hotel EVER. So clean, amazing service, provide drinking waters every day, quiet, great location, and the room temperature is absolutely perfect every day. I’d never felt so satisfied with a hotel stay in my life. Will come back here again if I ever visited Korea again!

Excellent property. Stayed for a week. We got the premier queen which is like a mini apartment with great space! Love the gym and spa/sauna (I could go there everyday!) Excellent staff and the food in the 1st Floor restaurant is excellent! Definitely a place we will return to for future stays.

Stayed here for four nights and the stay couldn't have been better. The room was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant that was a little too pricey for us but it looked really nice. There's over a hundred coffee shops/dining options within a couple minute walk. The closest metro stop is City Hall, and it's literally right down the street.

For a short no frills stay it’s ok. My only real issue is that the room was never really cleaned well. On the first day the room wasn’t even cleaned. The cups were always left unwashed and there the floor was never hoovered properly. I did complain twice but no one did anything. We also got lots of bites on our first night. Wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t stay again based on the above

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. The only issue I had was with transportation from the hotel to the airport. They said they didn't have a shuttle but the information on the expedia site said they did. This was confusing. If this was a mistake, it needs to be corrected on the website.

My favourite place for 12 years Perfect location. Walkable Safe They have great big rooms with full mini kitchen even a washing machine in room . Located at 2 steps starbucks -holys coffee. Namdaemun market steps away . Cheap food cheap coffee- recommend

5 stars for excellent service by the staff. One star for facilities, as we got bit by bed bugs and had a broken shower so had to switch rooms. 2nd room had issues with the bathroom as well. Great location with plenty of places to eat and shop.

Great Stay!
I am glad I chose this hotel again after staying here in Feb 2018. It is still as I like it, friendly and efficient and conveniently located too. The staff at the reception, especially Ms Julie (and Ms Judy amongst others) is absolutely a gem always greeting with a smile. The hotel was kind to give me my same Sungnyemun view room as in 2018. Thank you for making my stay a great one. I would definitely stay again at the hotel.

A wonderful place
The staff was excellent and friendly upon both checkin and checking out. I didn’t get the lady’s name, but she was the house keeper on the 14th floor. She always greeted us with a smile and always asked what we needed. A great employee indeed. Our room was spotless and in excellent condition. If we ever return to Seoul, Fraser Place will be our choice to stay.

Loved my stay! Read a lot of bad reviews on other sites that didn’t apply. It wasn’t loud in the hotel and there’s tons of food options nearby. The hotel is clean, room was very nice and spacious, staff was friendly, sauna/gym are really nice and relaxing. Totally worth the price. I wish every hotel had a sauna! Only complaint: rooftop bar is closed on weekends and you can sit there unless you order something.

There is a Panorama Room at the top with views of numerous landmarks. The rooms are small, but comfortable and include a refrigerator/freezer & a desk. The staff is warm and courteous. This property is directly across from City Hall and adjacent to Namdaemun Market and very close to many other landmarks, including Deoksugung Palance. There are many shops, points of interst and restaurants within walking distance. It's a great location. However, be aware that every Saturday a demonstration is held across the street at City Hall. It is pretty loud, but ends quite early (8ish) and often with a rock band, so you can watch a free concert.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in good area surrounding with all traditional food and coffee shops . I and my husband liked a lot !
