The room was acceptable and served a purpose, but far from the best place I have stayed. The mattress was quite thin and too firm, and the pillow also too thin and far too soft offering no support at all. The desk was at a high level with a bar stool, very fashionable I'm sure, but not very suitable for any extended periods of work. Staff were very helpful, everyone I spoke to was conversent, if not fluent in English. Breakfast was buffet style, and offered Cheese, Ham, Breads and Croissants with various spreads, and a selection of yoghurts. There were oranges available for freshly squeezed juice. Worth getting there early so they don't run out of cheese!
Being a City hotel, there is no dedicated parking. There is plenty of pay-and-display nearby, and most don't charge overnight. However; if you are driving from England in a RHD be wary, a lot of the parking is barrier entry and you will be sat on the wrong site of the car - roadside parking fills up very quickly. Would happily recommend to anyone who isn't driving, and only staying a short while, but if you are driving or spending a lot of time in the room there are better places out there - dedicated parking is a must!
