It a nice place except for all the lose Dogs in the area.
From when I first pulled in the to the
Property and checked in they urinated all over my car.
Not dangerous but very concurring about them in the trash cans.
The room smelled liked mold. It was not clean. It was hard to find the room and the walk way was not safe at night. No lighting and no parking close to room. Towels were full of lint and service desk closes at 8pm and there was no one available to assist after.

Rooms were clean but very basic. Property needs some TLC. Property had definitely seen better days. Seemed like they we’re short on staff. Staff were friendly, helpful . Restaurant had good food and service for both breakfast and dinner. There are a few craft stores. Many loose dogs around the property. It is a good location to stay if you are interested in the Hopi Reservation
the area is run down with trash and stray dogs.... but once you get past the poor appearance , the hotel staff are friendly and the actual rooms are fantastic.. clean, tidy and a very good value..
Just being in Hopi lands is a unique experience
The room was clean with coffee, heat, a/c, clean linens, tv, and good beds. Food was delicious. We only had 1 night so just missed native dances the next day

Greeted by a pack of hungry dogs! The rooms were clean enough, but the area around our room was a junk pile. The courtyard was abandoned and in inviting. The stores and restaurant were all closed so we couldn’t enjoy the culture as the ad said we would. That was the reason we booked at that hotel in the first place. The kids and adults were all disappointed.
Hopi Cultural Center sits on the top of Second Mesa. It us a beautiful place with even more beautiful places just a short drive away. It is quiet and we’ll planned to promote quietness.
The facility needs to be upgraded and brought up to standard. The museum is not to be open for a month-maybe?? The restaurant was satisfactory but no buffet was offered. The online website seems to show the property in time when the facility was well tended. Perhaps Covid precipitated deteroriation.
The hotel is convenient to what we came to do. The rooms were good but not exceptional. Reasonable rate. Nice having restaurant on site since there isn’t a lot nearby. Staff is friendly.
This is a difficult review to write. I was looking forward to a nice stay.
1. there were no electrical outlets near the bed for either my computer or phone. I had to use my computer on battery, and then keep plugging it in across the room.
2. there were unleashed feral dogs on the property that made me quite nervous. The staff helped me with this.
3. when I used the toilet, the water would not stop running. I turned the valve off at the wall.
4. the Directv connection cut out maybe every 15 minutes or so.
This was not a "cheap" hotel, at $133/night.
I cut my stay short by a day.
On the good side - the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet.
In addition to providing accommodations for tourists/visitors, the Hopi Cultural Center is a hub for the Hopi community to share meals or family events (birthdays) It has undergone an upgrade with new construction and was just beginning to provide meals when we stayed there. A new water system has been completed, and staff was very helpful about places to eat and directions for cultural excursions.
It was really old and not clean at all. Couldn’t even take a shower. The bathroom was dirty and no hot water.

We very much liked the restaurant and staff. Food was good and staff very friendly. Prices very fair. The property outside was disappointing. Nothing but dirt & sidewalks not swept. There were feral dogs everywhere and we have a dog so it was hard to take him out to go potty. One of the beds was swayback. Possibly broken. Room was very clean which we appreciated.
Nothing was open the museum and reastraunt was closed. Nothing to do

Good choice but
Comfortable but the lights in the room need repair. The staff needs to empty the outside trash cans before leaving at night since ani, mals get into them. There are various dogs that hang around inside the courtyard day and nights.
The cultural centre was closed. There is no food in the motel and it is in the middle of nowhere. Not a great plCe to stop especially during the off season.
