"This was our first time staying at the Marshal House. We were able to check in early and park in the public garage behind the hotel. Very convenient and cheaper than the valet parking. They offered free water, coffee and tea all day. They provided a wine and cheese happy hour everyday between 5 and 6:30 with entertainment. Breakfast each morning. Great location for walking everywhere. Very historic building and very welcoming! "

"Great location!! Loved that it was within walking distance of River Walk and City Market. We stayed in a river view balcony room and I would have preferred it had a better cleaning. Floors were sticky and with the dark color wood you can see all the dust. Also thought it was strange there was no trash bin in the bathroom. Wish there would have been a refrigerator in the room as well. The bed was comfy but could tell it was an older mattress (lumpy and low spots). Was disappointed about the size...

"Disliked the many homeless sleeping and depositing trash in Reynolds Square. They didn’t bother or beg, but by far this was the trashiest square we went to. We walked to 14 of them. The hotel was a joy and staff helpful. Very enjoyable."
