“Would stay again”

The room was very clean, very comfortable bed, great continental breakfast. The hot tub wasn't working but we didn't have time for it anyways.

“Son enjoyed”

The staff at the front desk were helpful and polite. The rooms were long and odd, but comfortable and clean. Swimming pool was clean, warm, and my son had fun. Breakfast was great. Check in/check out also went smoothly.

“Lompoc's Finest”

Given that we had a winemaker dinner at the Mission La Purisima, this hotel in Lompoc--known for its federal penitentiaries, its Flower Festival, and its murals--was perfect because it was the closest, about two country road miles away. Upon returning from that event, with slight buzz, we descended upon the gas station store across the street, to pick up two tall boys of Old English and Miller Lite and cigarettes. What a way to finish a fine dining evening! Our plans to do so were almost put in jeopardy when a tatooed fellow followed us closely into the market, making us suspicious of his intentions--we wondered if he had anything to do with the gang or 20 or so loitering menacingly in the Mervyn's parking lot. Now worries, though, he was just buying some O.E. too--what am amazing coincidence! Over smokes, the view of the airport from the hotel breezeway was impressive, though I hoped for more flights. In the morning, the continental breakfast proved reliable, with a bonus of hearing the mop lady chat it up with the manager, who was kicking it with her kid over coffee. We never made it to the pool.

“I'd stay again”

No problems. There were 3 bus loads of tourists that night and the complementary breakfast that morning was really crowded.

“I would go back again and recommend it to friends”

May be at this location only but this location needs to clean or change the carpetting. Carpet looks kinda old already, but overall it was good.

“Would definitetly go back”

Our queen bed room was very comfy with a large flat-screen TV! The pool area was nice and the pool adn hot tub were both great. The contintal breakfast had a large selection with an employee there ready to help if somethign had run-out. My only complaint would be the shower could not keep a steady temperature, but we were able to work around that.

“Great service with pet accommodations”

The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the hotel is beautiful. We were accomplishing a military move and the hotel at Vandenberg AFB was completely booked in terms of pet-friendly lodging. This hotel is pet-friendly, however there is a $25 pet fee not noted on here and there is also a military discount if you contact the hotel. The rooms are pretty small for the room rate, but they're clean. They were able to put us on the first floor as requested for our dog and it was a great location for taking her outside. However, the room was right across from the staff entrance, which meant that our dog could hear staff outside our door constantly throughout the day. For a dog, this either means whining and barking, and is problematic with the "dog rules" listed at the front desk. The "pampered pet area" as listed on the map was actually just a vacant lot by the airport.
