The owners/managers live on site and are very nice as well as being helpful with anything you may need. There is a great "doggie" area and the rooms, while not fancy, are comfortable, clean and efficient. We stayed 2 nights during a family reunion and just loved being there.
They have thought of everything to make your stay the very best. Very well done!
The hotel staff were helpful in recommending restaurants and provided chowder and drink coupons. My husband and I were traveling by motorcycle, and the front clerk provided a blow dryer and cups and plastic ware. The bed was very comfortable.
It was a 10/10 for what it was. A clean Comfort Inn on Highway 101 with friendly staff and its quick breakfast buffet. I'm a multimillionaire on the west coast shore drive with my teenage boys, a bit of a hotel snob and a realist. Absolutely no complaints. We rode a railrider dunebuggy just south of hotel (? Frontier rental) and then went 20 miles further south for a larger selection of ATV's and more open dunes at ?Spincasters? Wow, my memory ain't what it once was...but a great trip!
Motel is adjacent to a sandy canoe/kayak launch,10 minute walk to KOA campground where friends were staying, had the requisite bathtub, clean everything; plus everything worked, As advertised: fridge, microwave, cable tv, free easy-access wi-fi, had carts to carry items up to second floor room, Friendly competent staff, Beautiful bay view. The gorgeous sunny dry mid 50’s weather in March was a benefit I am sure the motel wishes they could always offer.
The room had a weird smell that they tried to cover up with a air freshener.
The water temperature fluctuated in the shower from extreme cold to extreme hot! It was HORRIBLE!
The bed was very noisy every time you moved and was not that comfortable.
