I had opportunity to end business trip with a quick trip to the coast before having to fly home later the next day. I was very happy with the friendliness of the couple that run the hotel. I was given suggestions for dinner and what to see the next day. They even fixed a slight issue with the smoke alarm very quickly. The room was very nice and everything was very new and clean. It had a cozy feel and I would stay there again if I was to return to this region. Vacationers will also like this place. Very convenient to Florence and Oregon Dunes. I had a great stay.
Hotel is a diamond in the rough! Within one half block of Old Town, walking distance to about 10-12 restaurants and quaint little shops. Our room faced the river and had a little private deck overlooking the river and beautiful old bridge.
Room was bright and clean and breakfast was adequate with a waffle maker as the star attraction. Would definitely return.

Escape to Florence, that wonderful little town on the Oregon coast. Then make the River House Inn your favorite lodging for …More
The hotel staff were helpful in recommending restaurants and provided chowder and drink coupons. My husband and I were traveling by motorcycle, and the front clerk provided a blow dryer and cups and plastic ware. The bed was very comfortable.
It was a 10/10 for what it was. A clean Comfort Inn on Highway 101 with friendly staff and its quick breakfast buffet. I'm a multimillionaire on the west coast shore drive with my teenage boys, a bit of a hotel snob and a realist. Absolutely no complaints. We rode a railrider dunebuggy just south of hotel (? Frontier rental) and then went 20 miles further south for a larger selection of ATV's and more open dunes at ?Spincasters? Wow, my memory ain't what it once was...but a great trip!
I got a room that was very quiet with a great view of the Ocean. The swimming pool was great. All of the staff and the owner or manager were pleasing to be around and talk to. I'm going to come back here next year. The only reason I didn't give a 5 on room comfort is because the bed hurt my back, it may not bother anyone else, because I have a bad back any ways. Its cause, I'm use to my bed at home which I have no problems. I hope this will help someone else that's thinking about staying there, To me it's a great Motel.
Met all of our criteria for two nights accommodations with ability to cook. Clean, moderately priced, comfortable bed, good wifi, excellent staff. A wonderful beach with our own balcony to watch the sun set.
Motel is adjacent to a sandy canoe/kayak launch,10 minute walk to KOA campground where friends were staying, had the requisite bathtub, clean everything; plus everything worked, As advertised: fridge, microwave, cable tv, free easy-access wi-fi, had carts to carry items up to second floor room, Friendly competent staff, Beautiful bay view. The gorgeous sunny dry mid 50’s weather in March was a benefit I am sure the motel wishes they could always offer.
