The beds are hard, the room smelled when we entered but not sure if it was just musty or if it was the type of cleaning solution, and even leaving the window open all afternoon, the smell still lingered a little. Breakfast was just packaged sweet rolls or toaster waffles. When we checked into our room, there was no smoke detector, just wires and the TV wasn’t working but when we informed the front desk, they resolved both issues that same day.

Staff was courteous, professional and easy going. This motel is pet friendly, but there is no real pet area. We found a great dog park 5 minutes away where our dog had a great time off leash (sunset dog park). The suite was spacious and provided enough room for 2 adults, 2 kids and our boxer! Not luxurious, but a great value for the price!

Unsanitary and run down, found cockroaches in room and had to find an other stay in the middle of the night. Requested refund that night and was told it wouldn’t be done till the next morning. Called the next morning and staff was upset, had me on hold and call was later disconnected. Had to go in person as was told I had to wait two business days to receive refund. Was very disappointed in the quality of the room and lack of compliance from staff.

The room was nice enough for the price, and the hotel was located close to restaurants and shops. The hotel was located very close to a freeway which was convenient, but there was a lot of freeway noise at night so ear plugs might be a good idea for some. The main problem for my 13-year-old son, and I was that when we walked past the check in desk to have our enjoy our continental breakfast, there was a homeless couple at the table next to us that I guess had snuck in for a free breakfast. They were arguing because one had taken the other ones drugs, and she wanted them back! It was a bit scary for us, because those situations can turn nasty so we took our breakfast and retreated to our car to finish our toast and coffee. I mentioned it to the two staff that were at the front desk, but they didn’t do anything. Then my son and I watched from our car as the homeless guy left and continued walking up the highway. Not a nice way to end our stay. 🤔

DNR with lack of reason or warning
So previously staying here I had ordered a smoking room and had stayed for a couple weeks. This time around I had ordered a room and apparently it was non smoking. I had no problem smoking cigarettes outside of the room. After 3-4 days of staying they wouldn't extend our stay saying the room smelled. First of all room service hadn't been to our room since the day before yesterday so why did they choose today to not accommodate us. If that was really the reason then they should have said something about it yesterday. Frankly, we didn't smoke in the room so I wanted to make sense of the whole situation. Over the phone the manager then said that the last stay we had a smoking room and since this time we had non smoking that we had to leave and that's the reason why we couldn't stay. Personally I think that since it was a holiday weekend that they wanted to rent out to people who don't use the third party apps to save money and basically having someone else willing to pay extra for the room. So guess that we didn't require any type of warning or let us know ahead of time that we had to find somewhere else to stay. What a inconsiderate and vague reason to DNR someone that follows the rules like everybody else.

Nope No Way NEVER Again
Very outdated and unclean. Parking lot had vehicles with steering wheel locks to help not have vehicles stolen, one guest has his own make shift furniture renovation station in the parking lot, a room had two cats lounging in the front window with extremely tattered curtains (I.e. a long term rental situation not a hotel), no covers on the mattresses, filthy and funky smelling. Stayed in a friends car to get out of the area because I was concerned with my safety. Returned only in the daylight to shower. NEVER staying here again.
