Loews Hollywood Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great proximity to Hollywood Bowl. Great place to stay."

Ramada by Wyndham Burbank Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The Ramada Inn was a nice place to stay. It wasn’t far from Universal Studios. We were able to take an Uber to Universal Studios and to the airport."

The Biltmore Los Angeles
8/10 Good
"We stayed at the Biltmore Los Angeles for two nights. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to 1) a subway station and 2) good restaurants. We did request no room cleaning, which was fine. Our room had a king bed, as requested, and it was comfortable. Even though we were on the eighth floor, sounds from the street wafted up frequently. The only bad component of the room was the TV remote, which had a low battery or faulty keyboard that prevented easy selection of channels. The bill or guest information was a revelation: a daily $39 destination fee that “included” WiFi access, health club access, domestic pkone calls, and daily credits for food and dry cleaning. We did not use any of these except for the WiFi. The valet parking cost $70 per day."

citizenM Los Angeles Downtown

Freehand Los Angeles
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel had a nice vibe, it was clean and all the employees were nice. The location was perfect for our needs"

The Garland
6/10 Okay
"We got connecting rooms. Staff was really nice and this is the first hotel that actually have fridge that keeps stuff nice and cold. The food from the restaurant was pretty good. Shuttle service was easy to use even with strollers. The kids room was supposed to be a king bed but felt more like a full size bed. In the other room there was an area in the room that smelled like vomit but otherwise seemed very clean. Also, was very odd when I tried to take a nap I put the do not disturb sign on the door and to my surprise got an employee knocking just to say they had a dnd (do not disturb) policy that if that sign is on the door someone needs to be in the room. Very strange. Was not fun getting woken up for that. At night it was extremely loud. Anyone in the hallways or loud vehicles on the freeway."

Hotel Angeleno
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent staff"

Hollywood Historic Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Historic Hollywood Hotel was by far my most favorite hotel on our trip! We arrived at the hotel during shift change but the staff still greeted us immediately and asked if we would mind waiting until they finished the shift change. We, of course, did not mind at all. While checking in we asked if we could possibly have a room where we could see the Hollywood sign from and though they could not guarantee it they gave us a room that we would have a good chance. The hotel is decorated with so many pictures of actors and actresses as well as pictures of Hollywood’s history! So many pictures, not enough time! I have to say that one of my favorite things about this hotel is the elevator! It is so small it only holds 3 people! I stood in the middle of it, put my arms out to the side and could literally reach both walls! I’m only 5’3 so that’s saying something. When it came time for us to leave we mentioned that we had never seen the Hollywood sign before except on tv. The lady at the front desk, please forgive me I don’t remember her name, told up where we could go to see it better and be close enough to get some good pictures and selfies. She also gave us a suggestion for a route to our next destination that would take longer but if we weren’t in a hurry would be worth the drive. She was right! We had a beautiful drive along the coast up to San Jose! When we plan our next trip to the Hollywood area we will definitely stay at this hotel again! We highly recommend it! 100% happy!"
