This property is a complete dive !! They make it look so nice on pictures , it is in a horrible part of town with people on drugs everyone, when we pulled in there we people in the parking lot doing drugs out of their trucks with the music blasting ! There were people sitting of the balcony’s doing drugs! We were travelling with two children, and there was no was we were even getting out of the vehicle, let alone staying there. On the description it said families love this place! There is no way ! It’s disgusting, a dive and very unsafe for families with children.

The customer service given by the ladies at check in was so kind and inviting. However, Justin at the front desk had the opposite attitude and should NOT be working there. I went to him with a matter of safety and he shrugs his shoulders. I’d never stay there again.

To be honest, I stayed at Wyndham Garden San Diego for its affordability and proximity to Barnes Tennis Center in which I was participating in a tennis tournament. The hotel room was very clean everything in the room worked. The bathroom tile and shower walls looked like it was recently installed so it was in great shape. I didn't need anything fancy because I was only in the room to sleep and shower. It served it's purpose and I was happy to have a nice bed to rest my tired body after a day of competitive tennis.

This is a motel, not a hotel, with no access to the rooms via the lobby. The staff assigned me, a single female traveler, to a room way across the property (basically a big, unlit parking lot surrounded by construction and a few closed restaurants). It was hard to find and not safe. In addition, there was loud construction noise in the morning.

Sandy front desk employee was horrible horrible! We extended our stay for another night and she was the worst person to deal with. horrible customer service attitude the whole time she was talking to us, talking over us and did not want to hear What We had to say she made it very uncomfortable. We had her call another employee to help us out which was Jennifer. Jennifer was amazing. I am still waiting refund since they charged me for an extra night that I didn’t ask for or stay. so that was kind of disappointing as well that I have to wait on that when I did not make an extra reservation

Just a sketchy place, I didn’t feel safe as a solo traveler. I got in at midnight and didn’t check sheets, next morning I saw an old blood stain. No vending machines worked

Came here on business could not sleep at all due to the loud and disrespectful people. Requested a room that was quiet and got none of that. I addressed the issue with staff and they had an attitude when I brought this to their attention. They charge you a $20 fee a night extra for parking that’s not included in any of the agreements to booking the room

In regard to fees for parking, this information is listed on the website for Guests to review prior to booking a reservation. There is also limited street parking for anyone that chooses not to park on property.

This is a very large property, so if you don’t have a car, be prepared to walk to your room, as room blocks are separate and not attached to the lobby. However, the check in was easy and painless. A good, reasonably priced option for airport goers

The parking was horrible. If you are going to charge $20 to park there should be parking available throughout the facility. There was one entire row of parking closed off.

That's correct, but those closed off parking areas belong to Panera Guests, not the hotel! There are parking spaces for all Guest, or limited street parking for those that choose not to park on property.

Pretty from picture on internet. but I did not feel safe at night walking by myself & carrying my suitcase to the back of the property & taking elevator. In middle of the night I heard a woman screaming “STOP IT” over & over again & then stopped.

I stayed with my family here it was very nice and clean. I wish the A/C would have been on when we arrived to the room it was a bit muggy. construction happening there is a Panera in between the hotel. The lobby was very nice and clean. Was checking on security was walking around checking cars felt safe.

We were close to the airport without being affected by noise. Bed and room were very comfortable, and no carpet! Hurray! Be aware that it costs $20 to park, a rather steep cost on top of paying for the room. The room was a great size and the blinds very effective at keeping the room dark for sleeping.

It waa very loud, people screaming at night, doors slamming, and above our room for hours from 6 pm to 6 am it sounded like someone was moving heavy furniture. Didnt sleep at all as it was incredibly loud and scary.

For those that do not care for Panera Bread. There are many food options in area if Panera is not your choice. Fees for parking are listed on the website for Guests to review prior to booking a reservation. Parking is available to all Guests and may not necessarily be near your room.
