We arrived after 3 pm to check in. I was given a room key and instructions on how to find the room. I parked where I was instructed, but the entrance to the room was around a long corner nowhere near where we were told to park. When I finally found the room, there was a maintenance cart in the doorway blocking the entrance. I went back to the front desk to inquire about what was happening in the room. They asked if I would like to change rooms, to which I said yes. The processed the room change, then discovered the maintenance person had left our room so they moved us back. All the while offering the gentleman next to me complimentary waters and snacks. They offered my nothing.
When we finally were able to get to our room we noticed large numbers of construction workers walking past our room. We were between the elevator and the dumpster location and surprise! They were doing construction directly above us. Loud jackhammer type noises from above, and constant large amounts of foot traffic coming from the hall to the dumpster located just feet from our room. Probably the most unfortunate stay of my life. I will never go back.
