Ugly hotel under construction
Read the title, that's the most I can say. The hotel was a big deception. Only three people in it, it smelled.

close to those we were visiting
It was adequate for our needs, quiet for sleeping despite being next to the interstate. We were not informed that the hotel would be under renovation while we were there although there was not any noise or inconvenience that disturbed us. Parking was quite limited. The room was clean but it was obvious why the facility was being renovated.

Under Construction
Was not informed that hotel was under construction. Dust everywhere and chunks of sheetrock everywhere. Vending machines did not work, rooms in desperate need of upgrade. Positive: in a good location and so hopefully when remodel is complete, this will be a decent choice.

Floor had not been vacuumed at all. Mold in shower and bathtub area. Mirrors and windows dirty, looked like they were wiped down with a dirty rag. Elevator floor was very dirty and hallways leading to the rooms had not been vacuumed in quite some time. This hotel was was not busy and had hardly any guests, so there was no excuse for the floors to be in the shape they were in. Doors looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time, dirty hand prints all over. Would never stay here again. Staff was very friendly, but the housekeeping of the hotel is awful.

You get what you paid for
The staff at the front desk were welcoming and friendly and answered any question I had with a smile. The lobby was a bit of mess because they were in process of renovation. The room was very clean but the mattress wasn't too comfortable. WIFI was slow so don't expect to stream shows on Netfelix. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel because I got what I paid for. It's a good place to spend a few nights here.

Convenient location to many Medical centers!
I've become aware of the area around the University of Texas/ San Antonio Medical Centers. Luckily the first visit to UTSA, driving around and spotting this hotel, was an end to my tiredness! Being one to have a close proximity to the hospital I had to go to. The second visit was somewhat a little problematic! Placed in a room with a bathroom that wasn't wheel-chair accessible. Still being satisfied with all the amenities!

Superman's Bathroom
Good hotel however the bathroom is about as big as a phone booth! MIght be okay for Superman but not for the rest of us!

Great bargain!
I found this hotel to be very convenient for me in location. I read a previous review about how their beds were comfortable so I booked the room right away since all I wanted was a good night's sleep. The bed was in fact comfortable but I woke up with a crick in my neck the next morning. So I recommend bringing your own pillow. The bathroom came with toiletries and a hair dryer but I brought my own. The room had cable but with very few channels. Can't beat free wifi though. The eggs for the morning breakfast was awful so I would just recommend eating next door at Jim's.

Great stay at a great price
The hotel was very clean. Employees were polite and helpful. The only complaint was there was only one working ice machine. I was able to get ice I just had to go down one floor. (Still wasn't too bad) The Staff explained it was because the hotel is going through some renovations. I really enjoyed my stay and I will stay there again.

GOOD LOCATION
The hotel located at great location. the employees at the hotel are great but the hotel was under service and renovation. One of the elevator was out of service, Ice make was broken and wedding machine didn't work at all. for Ice or any sodas you have to go to another floor.

The elevator that was down during your stay had some parts that needed replacing but everything is fine and up and working properly. Based on prior reviews, I wasn't expecting much from this hotel, but we booked last minute on what was apparently a busy weekend, since most other hotels were full. The room itself was very nice, clean and fairly spacious. The bath was divided into a dressing area and then the toilet/bathtub were separate. That part was really small and not perfectly clean, with some minor dirt in the tub. If a great bathroom is important, this won't work for you, but otherwise I thought it was a nice room, and one of the cheaper ones that I could find. It's between Six Flags and downtown, so it's a fairly convenient drive to both. I didn't use the pool or any other amenities besides the room.

When you walk in the hotel it smells like old smoke. The room was supposed to be non smoking the smell of the room was awful it smelled like someone smoked all night in the room we were in. Pool is really small. The price was expensive to stay in a place like this very unsatisfied.

Closeness to Six Flags is saving grace.
Even though I would recommend this hotel to a friend I would hesitate to stay here on a regular visit to San Antonio. While the front desk and breakfast staff was were very pleasant some of the facilities were not quite up to my standards. The beds were some what lumpy and the shower and toilet were very cramped for anyone over 5' 11". A few of the electric outlets were broken leaving a safety hazard to anyone with toddlers.

Very nice hotel and close to freeway
Very nice room. A/C was excellent and in San Antonio in June that's what you need!! Comfortable bed. Very nice friendly staff. Free breakfast was very good. My only complaint is the bathroom/toilet area was small.

Mold in room.
First room smelled terrible but couldn't figure out what smell was. Desk clerk was contacted and a second room was issued. Second room had a slight smell as well but bearable. Went to sleep after getting back from movies and woke up a 5am from water splattering on my face and spouse from several leaks in ceiling. Leaked on ac, near window and further away tricked to bed back board. After leaking around leaking mold/mildew visible and noticed ceiling had been painted from inconsistent white shades. Contacted desk clerk immediately. Another room was issued. Slept for the remaining few hours. Noticed leaks around window however not near my sleep area so didn't care. Desk clerks customer service was very good however managment never inquired. Was told some rooms leak during heavy rain. This hotel was the worst experience I have ever encountered.. The Quality Inn located near Brimhall road is much better. Thanks

HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY POLITE. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS OKAY. THE WALLS TO OUR ROOM MUST BE VERY THIN BECAUSE WE HEARD OUR NEIGHBOR TALKING ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. OVERALL , IT WAS NICE FOR THE PRICE. I WILL STAY AGAIN ONLY AS MY LAST RESORT.

Good room for the price
Our first room had a problem with the bathtub (water was trickling and filling up the tub despite the drain being open) and the staff quickly moved us into another room. This room was very clean and comfortable, even if a little dated. The bathroom and shower were spacious with ample supplies. Ice and vending were only available on 3 of the floors and 2 out of the 3 ice machines were out of order. We were only there for one night after a long day of driving and crashed pretty early so we didn't make use of many of the hotel's facilities.

Awesome friendly staff
The hotel was beautiful inside & out! The breakfast was amazingly delicious and the friendly staff made me feel like i was family! Loved everything from checking in to the location! Recommending it to everybody i know going to San Antonio!

For last minute reservations the hotel wasn't bad for the rate. The hotel was not that close to six flags or sea world but that was fine. The rooms are in desperate need of updates and our covers were very lumpy. The customer service was excellent though and the staff was very helpful. That actually made up for the bad stuff in my opinion.

It's about 15 minutes away but as far as Sixflags its only 3 exits down. Thank you for the feedback on the bedding we will use them in the future to improve our guest stay. This hotel charges a price you can get in any other hotel in the surroundings; however this hotel don't offer very basic amenities a refrigerator and a microwave in their lower price room which is over priced any how.

Decent Hotel for decent price
First let me say the staff was vey helpful. The room was actually very comfortable, except the bathroom was really small. However the bed was great and desk area was spacious. The first room I had the shower head did not work. Only one side of the shower head worked. However once i reported it to the front desk they changed my room immediately. the room they changed me too had a faint smell of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. I realized the smoke was coming from outside where everyone was smoking. Even though I was on the second floor you could still smell the smoke. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and the time I was there

Clean, comfortable, close to las Cantera
The office manager who helped us was very professional and just overall nice!! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We lives that it was so close to La Cantera shops and restaurants! The breakfast looked and smelled good, waffles and other hot items. We didn't get to eat as we were in a rush. Checkout was as easy as check in. Definitely a good deal. For the price we paid, I expected less.
