You will need a vehicle or use Lyft or Uber to get around as nothing is exactly in walking distance because of it being conveniently located right off the highway however Lyft and Uber is cheap to get around and almost always pick up within 2-5 minutes unless you request a wait and save option. Ordering an Lyft or Uber can be problematic as the drivers tend to arrive 20 to 10 minutes ahead of the requested time so be aware of that when doing a schedule pick up time

The hotel was located next to U.S 281 and the traffic at night was exceptionaly noisey. Several drivers, (especially motor cycles) treated 281like a drag-strip.

We came for Spring Break and was counting on the pool to be open. Didn’t like the fact that it was closed. The AC in our room was loud and kept us up most of the night. The location was convenient and the beds were nice though. Breakfast was ok. The eggs were bad but the yogurt and meats were ok.

We have had alerts live on all third-party travel sites, including Expedia, that state that our pool is closed for renovation. We also have an alert posted on our official website that reads "NOTICE- Our pool will be closed for renovations until April 30, 2024. During this time registered guests have complimentary access to LifeTime facilities, including the pool."We apologize for the inconvenience.

The stay was great until the last night we were there. At 11pm or so, some crazy drunk ladies were just hanging around in the hallway, next to our room and were being very loud and obnoxious. We had to call the lobby and only after having security involved, they finally went to their room. This went on all the way til about 230 in the morning. Also the matress on the sofa bed was extremely thin. We had to use the couch cusions to try and make a makeshift mattress. Other than that, the stay was very nice. The staff was friendly, the lobby host were very resourceful. The free breakfast was a plus. With a big family, free breakfast saved us a little to spend on outdoor activities.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the Hyatt Place hotel. The experience was nothing short of appalling. Firstly, I was shocked to discover that the pool was under construction during my stay, which was a major inconvenience as I was looking forward to enjoying some relaxation time. Secondly, I was appalled to find out that there was no room service available. It is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber to not provide such a basic amenity. To make matters worse, upon checking into my room, I was greeted by a dirty toilet with poop floating in it. This was not only unsanitary, but also extremely unpleasant and completely unacceptable. When I approached the front desk to request a room change, I was met with resistance and denial. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to address the issue from the front desk staff was highly disappointing. I understand that issues can arise during a stay, but it is the hotel's responsibility to take swift action and ensure guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, my experience at the Hyatt Place hotel fell far short of this expectation. I hope that the management team takes this review seriously and takes immediate steps to address these issues, as they greatly impacted the quality of my stay.

We have alerts posted on third-party websites such as Expedia as well as our official websites regarding the pool closure. This alert states "NOTICE- Our pool will be closed for renovations until April 30, 2024. During this time registered guests have complimentary access to LifeTime facilities, including the pool."As for the housekeeping issues, we are so sorry to hear about this. Rest assured; the feedback provided will be shared with the appropriate hotel teams such as Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Higher Management to ensure that every team involved can use your feedback as a learning experience for all. We hope that this problem never occurs in the future. Your stay did not live up to the standards that we hold ourselves to, and we will work diligently to be sure that all of the mistakes listed are corrected, Michael.

The room was very spacious, and the breakfast options were great! The only thing I didn’t like was the dirty looking couch. It was stained and brown. We had to put sheets over it to be able to sit on it.

I is a little cumbersome to get to, but there are a bunch of stores on a 5 min drive, very quiet place, close to the children hospitals. Very kind staff.

We were surprised with the lack of cleanliness of the room. I usually inspect as soon as we arrive but I had just had surgery and was tired and groggy. The next morning we noticed blood stains in the comforter and the shower and walls in the bathroom looked splattered with bodily fluids. I am not one to complain, but it was not nice for what we thought we were getting.

The staff was very kind; however, it would have been good to know about the power shutdown on the 3rd of Jan and the lack of an elevator (the 4th floor on the staircase was not a good thing for my mom and Auntie); next time it would be nice to share this info or block the rooms to change hotels with anticipation.
