The guy at the front desk was super nice & helpful.
The room itself was better than we expected for a cheap motel, having never stayed in one, but this was the only place available last minute in the area for under $200/night on our 2 day drive home.
The room was clean, but could have used some maintenance. The shower curtain was ripped along the bottom and up at the hooks, and the tub had very stained caulking, and caulking used to repair holes in the tub surround, making it look dirty, but it was clean. The bathroom smelled a bit weird, but after going for a walk, it looks like they are on a well/septic? That could be the reason.
There is shampoo/soap provided , but the 2 little packs of shampoo were like little ketchup packs. Normally I don't care, but I forgot to pack mine :p if you have long hair, you will need to go ask for more. There is no conditioner provided.
There was a kettle & things to make hot beverages in the morning, but only instant decaf coffee packs. No tea, no regular coffee. Weird.
The beds were comfortable. Everything in the room worked as it should, so overall, it was above our expectations.
