Bayside Boutique Hotel - Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"The staff in the front end were fantastic. It was a pleasant welcoming check in. We noticed the floors were not thoroughly cleaned in the room but it was clean besides that. Breakfast was not very good was very expensive and limited only to their specific breakfast dishes. The beach is beautiful, plenty of loungers and the pool though small was very nice and relaxing Overall I probably would stay here again, it was very good time besides small percentage of staff members who were standoffish not too nice"
Blue Bay Lodges
10/10 Excellent
"Great resort with access to gorgeous beach. This is a gated resort composed of both high end private residences and apartments rented out with access to the amenities such as restaurants, golf court and private beach. Many residents travel by golf carts and children can be seen roaming by themselves in their scooters. It can be a bit of walk to get to the beach, but overall very safe even at night. We did experience two power outages, which seem common for a few hours. Once you leave the resort you are reminded that this is a 3rd world country with many dirt roads, and locals trying to make a living from tourists. So keep this in mind when traveling to the many other public beaches. There is a local high end mall called Sambil that thas all the common American brands, a kids bounce playground, movie theater and a supermarket. Things are not very close and renting a car was a must to see all the island. The main Office is only open briefly in the mornings, and WhatsApp text is the main method to communicate with staff. They are responsive and very friendly, but it was something different that most resorts."
