The staff was top notch, pleasant and helpful. The location was a walk away from everything I wanted to do, and a pleasant walk to Soldier Field. The subway/train just around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
Stayed for 2 nights at the Palmer House. Very nice hotel. Lobby is has old school charm. Love the Starbucks in the lower level/street level. Fitness room one of the nicest I've seen in a hotel. Would stay again.
We had an excellent stay at this hotel, which is very well located. Our room was considerably bigger than others in which we have stayed, similarly priced, in Chicago. The staff was always very helpful. Very nice experience indeed.
We had to call for help a couple of times( internet service, we wanted another robe) and every time, the speed with which they accommodated us was outstanding. And the staff at the front desk helped store our packages(shopping) very cheerfully.
Arriving check-in is very fast.Free WIFI,free water in the hallway, free coffee w/a lounge/coffee bar under the lobby, microwave, fridge and sink in my room!WOW!Restaurant attached to hotel is fantastic!Delicious shepherd's pie!Rooms are cozy, private and comfortable.View from other buildings is nice making you feel right in the heart of the city.
Came to play tourist for the weekend after working hard in the suburbs all week. Very modern, clean, upscale and comfortable....walking distance to train, shops, restaurants, and a short cab or bus ride to Lake Michigan, Navy pier, Ogden point, Aquarium, Planetarium and Field museum.
Nice hotel. Took train in. Stop was within two blocks and hotel is next to Chicago Theater where we went to a concert. Very nice hotel. Staff super. Only issue was got into an up and down loop on the elevator. Have to put room key in to select floor. This becomes a problem with a full elevator of people going to various floors. Otherwise great stay.
