Poor, breakfast was shockingly small for over €20! Bed was rock hard, rooms very noisy. Parking is a joke and not enough staff speak English

Very nice comfortable hotel
Lovely hotel, centrally located in Roubaix, very close to the metro station. Staff on reception were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable for our 1 night there. We didn't eat so can't comment on the breakfast, but I would recommend having the hotel breakfast if you stay there are there is no-where else decent, especially on a Sunday morning! Very convenient for the rugby at Lille as super easy to get into Lille centre.

Nice stay in Roubaix
We had a brief but great stay here. We arrived in the morning after taking an early Eurostar and were thrilled to be able to check in early for a nap! The hotel was quite nice and clean and comfortable and has a perfect location. It's located right off of a nice square in Roubaix, and it's close to the metro that takes you directly to and from the Lille city center. We didn't pay for the breakfast, but it looked nice. All in all would recommend as an option in the Lille area!

Good Hotel, but ....
Nice hotel in centre of Roubaix. However, I have 2 gripes. I needed a secure car park but the car park at the hotel was completely impracticable. It was so narrow that I couldn't even get small VW car through the entrance to underground car park with the wing mirrors folded in. The second gripe is the lack of restaurant facilities. We arrived on Sunday evening & with all local restaurants closed for Sunday night, we wanted to eat at hotel, but the restaurant is closed at weekends!! Both these gripes should have been explained on the hotel website

Hello, Thank you for your comment following your stay. Indeed, our city car park is narrow and can accommodate Citadines type car. Please note that parking is free on weekends. Noisy noisy stay
It wasn’t great comfort-wise. I could hear people walking up and down the corridor outside. I could hear the lorries reversing early morning. The room service woke me up for the breakfast which I didn’t order, turned out it was for someone else! Room was too warm, and the air conditioner did not seem to do anything. However, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was sumptuous.

Location of the hotel was suitable for our needs. Parking was on street and could have been difficult if it had been busy. However, we were fortunate enough to be allowed to park outside the Hotel. There were unfortunately a few niggly issues with our room. Albeit, overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning not being switched on because it was considered not to be hot enough created a problem with sleep. The bathroom door did not shut.

I have stayed in many other Mercure properties, this was in poor condition, Room switches was worn and looked from a war zone !! No bottle water !!! I have stayed in cheaper properties and they offered complimentary water bottles... esp when you check in late it's difficult to go out and buy !! Weak Internet signals.

The hotel ambience was very good with a mature settings . The room had everything I would expect for the class of hotel situated in the center of the city, only warning I would give is parking at the hotel otherwise do consider this as a possibility

We thought the hotel was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good too. Roubaix was disappointing - there’s great architecture and heritage but most bars and restaurants close before 8pm on a Saturday night. We just went into Lille.

The hotel is ok. Restaurant is average. Very inconvenient for lack of parking. We just stayed in the hotel for 2 daus because we had found a spot for the car and did not move it.

Great location - very central with easy access to Lille. Friendly staff - full of recommendations and were genuine and warm. Hotel was comfortable - only issue was that the bottom two slats of the bed were loose.

good out of town location
stay here if you wish to visit LA Piscine art deco art gallery and have easy access to Lille -which is only half hour by tram or less by metro - the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating- giving advice about local places to eat/visit and our rooms were very tidy, clean and comfortable. Nice range of food for the buffet breakfast.

Wedding stopover
We were invited to a wedding nearby and wanted a comfortable hotel to stay in. We checked in during the afternoon and spent a couple of hours in the room which was very spacious before we headed off to a late night wedding celebration. The bed was very comfortable and we all (there were 3 of us, my wife, my 8 year old son and myself) slept very well. My son had never slept in such a big bed!

We came from Lille to stay in this hotel with my family. It's a summer day where it was really hot. The hotel didn't have air conditioning in the room. The Internet was really bad. The room was very very old. The toilet wasn't working perfectly. Especially the flush.

I stayed at this hotel as a group of 6 on a cycling trip. The hotel is clean and tidy right on the town square with a number of bars and restaurants in walking distance. A clean and pleasant hotel with friendly staff. One which I will definitely use again if in the area.

Hotel was fine. Clean and pleasant. Rooms are a bit small. Breakfast was great (but the lady in charge was a bit imposing!). Apparently there is parking onsite but annoyingly we were directed to a public car park for the 3 days we stayed. Roubaix isn't much to write home about and everything closes at 11pm!

A Very Nice Hotel
This was my second visit to this hotel. If visiting Roubaix, this is where I would recommend you stay. Jeremy, one of the principal receptionists, is very helpful and attentive. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

The standard rooms are a reasonable size but are basic i.e. kettle, Standard TV - no films or other country channels, no fridge. I would say this is the best hotel in Roubaix

This hotel isn't near Lille - but it ain't bad
Had a premier level room for 2 adults and two children for £67. Room smelt mouldy but facilities good. The hotel is 15 odd stops on the Metro from Lille and Roubaix is not a lovely area to spend time in. Overall hotel was good though
