"When we arrived before the 7:00pm allowed arrival time -6:45 pm (there was no cell reception in the area) we were told that Expedia had cancelled our reservation due to over booking. I have never had that happen before. It seemed odd and definitely concerning. We were told that a more expensive room was available, for which receptionist gave us a discount for our inconvenience, $210 instead of $280. While this was appreciated it was still $25 over our originally agreed upon price with Expedia. The room we reserved was a two bed cabin and the room we had to book only had one bed. Not what we reserved. My question is..did Expedia cancel my original booking because I never got notice of such a change."
